Interview with Vivek Thomas, President of Maximizer Software

GETAPP.COM: Who are you and what is your role in the company?

THOMAS: Vivek Thomas. I’m the President of Maximizer Software.

GETAPP.COM: Are you a cloud or a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company?

THOMAS: Maximizer is a versatile company that offers both On-Premise and Clould (Saas) solutions. The great thing about offering both options is that businesses looking for a CRM solution can choose a deployment option which best fits their environment today, with the option of changing it in the future if required.

GETAPP.COM: What are the points of difference of your solutions?

THOMAS: Maximizer CRM is a full-featured CRM out-of-the-box… What I mean by this is it doesn’t just have a contact and sales management module. It also includes the customer service and marketing automation modules. These allow businesses to easily start collaborating across teams and gain the insight needed to drive productivity and revenue growth across the whole organization. As mentioned in the previous question, another differentiator is being able to offer deployment options. Some companies don’t have an internal IT department so SaaS might be more appealing to them, but as the business grows that may change. With Maximizer it is easy to shift between the two options as they have the same database architecture. Either option provides customers with complete access to their CRM over the web and across any tablet or smartphone device. This is especially beneficial to the ever growing number of businesses with staff that work remotely or are often away from the office.

GETAPP.COM: How would you like to be evaluated by a prospect?

THOMAS:There are 3 different ways… Prospects can access an online interactive demo that runs within a browser, so no downloads or installations are required. The nice thing about the online demo is that it includes practice data to play with. We also have a free 30-day trial that can be downloaded or shipped on request or another excellent way for prospects to assess and experience the software is to attend one of our product webinars.

GETAPP.COM: Why do your customers buy from you?

THOMAS:I feel there are 5 main reasons: 1. The intuitive interface is easy to use and quick to learn, helping promote user adoption, 2. Comprehensive features and functionality – Marketing to Sales to Customer Service – all within the same interface, 3. Best value in its class 4. Can be accessed from anywhere, anytime and from any web enabled device, 5. Reliability – having been in the CRM space for 20+ years.

GETAPP.COM: What do you see as the key trend emerging in the industry?

THOMAS: Key changes in the industry are being led by enhancements in cloud based technologies and in the consumption of CRM information via a mobile device. Users now want high speed access anywhere, anytime. Information accessed needs to be comprehensive, inclusive of data from social media sites, but relevant to that particular interaction or query only.

GETAPP.COM: What is THE most important message you feel you should get across to someone considering buying your solutions?
