- YOUR LISTS: MailChimp helps you customize your signup form to match your brand, so you can share it on your website and integrate it into your Facebook page. You can also collect signups from an iPad or laptop. Importing an existing list into MailChimp is very easy, no matter how it's formatted.
- YOUR TEMPLATES: There are dozens of pre‑designed templates. You can also start‑from‑scratch and use the template builder for more customization. If you’re an HTML expert, you can code your own with our flexible template language.
- YOUR CAMPAIGNS: Email Segmentation is easy with Mailchimp. Send a campaign to your entire list, or divide it into groups. RSS‑to‑Email and Autoresponders allow you to create automated campaigns.
- YOUR RESULTS: MailChimp’s prepares for each campaign a free report to tell you who’s opening, clicking, and coming back for more. The report is available for iPhone and Android too. Tweet Trends gives you insight into your subscribers’ activity on Twitter, and our Google Analytics integration gives you advanced stats on how your campaigns affect traffic to your website.

Staying in touch with my clients is important to me so I send out an email newsletter 4x per year. All about tips and techniques they can try out at home. Generall wellness, etc. My clients enjoy it immensely, and it has helped me build my client list. The tool itself is very easy to figure out, and I was even able to get a pretty decent design going. And of course, who wouldn't love that monkey?

MailChimp was a big surpriseElke15th of June, 2012 14:49
I have tried out different freemium cloud apps already but many times it gets complicated if you want to use it for the business. With MailChimp the freemium version is enough for a small business and the available features are just amazing. I especially like the report function: It gives an exact overview on where and how many people clicked, geographical details, bounces, unsubsribers and the reason for unsubscribing, etc..)
