I've enjoyed using AtTask and it's instrumental in helping us manage our projects. Due to reporting features and a few reports and views I've built, we are able to see the project cost planned and actual and see a really good estimate of project completion.

Workfront is a great project management and workflow tool. It is cloud based and very easy to use. Workfront gives everyone high level visibility into their projects down to the smallest detail. No more spreadsheets for me! Using Workfront we are able to minimize meetings and internal email. Workfront allows us to communicate within the project so that we have an audit trail of the project. It has also allowed us to bring all of the teams closer together to help with approvals and the completion of the projects. No more missed deadlines. Excellent reporting and dashboard capability, that you can customize to fit your needs.

For years now; a relatively small team of resources in the eCommerce group (1.5 writers, 1.5 designers, 1 coder, and 2 Q/A team members) have supported upwards of 4 web sites and email campaigns across 3 business units. The only way this has been possible is due to leveraging Workfront (AtTask) for managing the project and resource workload on a daily basis.We can meet the needs of job requests (business owners) and organize the workload for all Resources; both at once.

Workflow management tool with great reporting potential

Workfront (AtTask) has the ability to maintain operational level of task scheduling and updating, valuable feature Timesheet for time capturing, and versatile reporting. It helps minimize the time spent on meetings and it is helpful as it keeps a log of all updates and comments provided on a specific project/ task. There is room for improvement in Reporting and resource management features, and it would be helpful to have more insight into AtTask Product Roadmap.

Can Workfront (AtTask) really be worth the time and money it requires? Short answer. Yes.

AtTask is a great project management and workflow management tool. It also takes care of portfolio and program management as well, which are part of the project management ecosystem. This is where AtTask shines and where I would suggest it being implemented. If you're looking to go beyond those areas, it may be possible to implement AtTask, but you may want to look more towards another solution that specifically handles what you're working to solve. An example of this would be trying to use AtTask as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Technically, you probably could shoehorn a CRM into AtTask, but that's not what it was designed to handle. You're better off using Salesforce or something similar in that scenario.

Workfront (AtTask) as a Game changer

We have been using AtTask for just 6 weeks and the biggest benefits so far have come from two areas. 1 - Consolidation of multiple tools previously into a single collaborative tool. 2 - Visibility of all areas of the PMO pipeline up to Senior Management level provided via the excellent report writer and dashboard capability. I am still working on the change management of the worforce and I need more formal training to extend our use of AtTask but overall very happy so far with the decision to go to AtTask to manage the IT PMO function.

Organization running on AtTask (Workfront)

I have been using Workfront (AtTask) company wide now for a solid year. We have over 800 projects in the system. Users log all of the time in the system and it is the Source of Truth for project metrics including financial reporting. We have expanded access to allow our Professional Services clients into the system providing transparency into the status of their projects and historical data. This tool has provided transparency and increased collaboration across every level of our organization. We are utilizing the new Agile process for our Business Intelligence team while R&D continues to work in Waterfall. All executive and Board level reporting related to the Professional Services group is driven from AtTask. We also have weekly reports that are delivered automatically to specific executives and clients. Workfront (AtTask) has been the key to taking our organization from a level 0 to level 3 in the maturity model. Resources are now held accountable due to the transparency AtTask provides. We are no longer an organization where the person that screams the loudest get the work done. Everything is now based on priority driven by the steering committee. Chaos has been replaced with order and process leading to reduced frustration for employees and clients alike. I would highly recommend AtTask to any organization looking to implement/enforce process, promote collaboration and increase transparency.

Used at prior company. Was very happy with the UI, the support services, and product performance. My current company purchased Clarizen 4 months before I started, and it feels like rewinding the clock 3 years.
