The collaboration tools include tools to initiate discussions, share documents, micro-blogging tools, and more. Qontext integration into line of business applications, without the usual complexities of programmatic integration, is part of a planned architecture not an after thought. Tool design as widgets, feed syndication, visibility controls, perma-link for all conversations and many other elements of Qontext design enable easy integration and uniform user experience.
SIMPLER TOOLING
Qontext toolbox simple to use and social by design. Tool design is very unique; no drop-down menus of their own, open in a small square area on top of application you are using (like a You-tube widget).
VISIBILITY CONTROLS
Corporate conversations cannot be as open and democratic as on the web. Qontext provides well-designed visibility controls, without making it overly cumbersome (read/write/share permission for every item) for users. Qontext rides on security and permission mechanisms already deployed in the organization.

I use Qontext to collaborate with our sales team, resellers and our tech support, right inside our CRM software. Conversations are pinned to leads, opportunities etc and I don't have to bother searching my inbox on the discussions I have had with my colleagues about the respective prospects in CRM.
