Review for TribeHR

Best all-in-one HR tool I've used!

TribeHR has done a great job of incorporating what HR, managers and employees need to do their jobs effectively. It is quick, smart and simple. It has everything you need as a manager without having to ask HR for help in getting the info. It really puts the information in the employee's and manager's hands eliminating administrative support often required by HR. It is also easy to navigate making for a great user experience. TribeHR has a boat-load of capabilities and features that are rarely found in one system. It is the first system that I've seen that attempts to incorporate every aspect of Human Resources it can. Doesn't have a feature you're looking for? The TribeHR support team is fabulous for responding to anything from quick bug fixes and little modifications to larger releases and features.

Pros: One System, lots of tools and features. Great support team. Still incorporating customer feedback and feature requests. Easy to use making the launch and training a cinch!

Cons: A few bugs here and there but the support team is always great in responding. Some features are still being developed so they may lack the structure or capabilities you are used to seeing from larger exclusive tools.

Best Uses: I use all of the tool's features to reduce my time with admin tasks which gives me the opportunity to add more value to my organization in other areas.

Review Context: I am an HR professional in the hi-tech industry. This is the second company where I have used this tool. Both organizations have been less than 100 employees and growing rapidly.


Review for Payment Evolution

Online payroll

The system is fantastic. It was simple to set up the few employees and proceses their payroll. I did not have to write or print cheques as the pay was automatically deposited in employees account. The best feature was the remitttance to revenue Canada as I now save penalty fees.

Pros: Easy to use. Do not need to keep records. No headache of remittance. I access payroll from anywhere.

Cons: We get the same pay every 2 weeks . .I wish there was one click command to process payroll instead of entering time for employees

Review Context: we are a small business. payroll is always difficult to do as I have to keep up to date with changes to deductions. It is also not easy to have the accountants do this work and gets expensive too both in time and $$.

i spent lot of time managing interviews with excel. Now everything is in one place. You should try the trial version and decide.

Pros: - easy to use UI - easy to get started - easy task management - sharing of resumes & comments with all interviewers is easy

Cons: - doesn't have a automated online programming test module (something like interviewstreet)

Robust and affordable HR software

Never before had I considered Human Ressources software (which in this case is online and being delivered via the cloud) inspirational. But the team behind BambooHR is comprised of happy, passionate professionals who desire nothing more than to help other human resources (HR) professionals manage the mountain of paperwork and procedures most HR departments are forced to endure. Like many cloud-based HR programs, BambooHR allows all employees to have access to the software — but at different permission levels. For example, an employee may have access to his or her “page” with salary, benefit and training information, not to mention forms for time off, etc. A manager might have access to their own page as well as their teams’ information and higher level management as well as HR personnel may have access to a greater number of employee data. BambooHR lets you customize your views and users permissions and will help you set up your dashboards in a way that makes you feel the most comfortable.

Review for CompensationXL

Best used by companies with more than 200 employees

For HR and compensation teams of companies with 200 or more employees, CXL offers a lot of perks. The one I found most appealing was the personal service that comes with the software solution. For example, Davis says that when a company signs on, an HRC/CXL team member is assigned to them and will handle all of their needs. A company does not have to deal with multiple people – as might be the case with bigger compensation solution providers. Review for Mindflash

Build your online courses fast and easy

I use Mindflash to put together online courses for my classes because it really simplifies the process of building the course. It makes it much easier to communicate with my students and to track their results. The application is web-based and extremely easy to use. I very much like that you can take contents (doesn´t matter if it is Word, PowerPoint, Flash, HTML, PDF,...) to create online courses and add quizzes.

Cheap and Inexpensive Online Scheduling Solution

NimbleSchedule is a web-based scheduling solution that promises to take the pain out of scheduling. I thought the multiple location feature is an especially thoughtful addition to the interface. The feature enables you to configure shifts across multiple locations. That is where the value of the system goes beyond traditional Excel sheet systems that are good for simple scheduling tasks but fail during complexity. Once details are configured, the system alerts users with text messages or emails. Each employee can enter his or her personal details. In addition, they can swap shifts based on their availability information configured in the system.
