Loc8 provides a highly functional Helpdesk with good SLA management and notifications system based on both incident and workorder status. Web based application, providing quick and simple access to users anywhere, anytime. Fully integrated Mobile applications that eliminate paperwork, enhance field workforce efficiency, provide real time asset/maintenance feedback and speed up invoicing. Asset-centric system that provides historical maintenance data down to the asset level, including individual faults and fault rectification status. A very flexible set and forget planned maintenance scheduling system that auto creates/dispatches workorders when required. Excellent dashboard reporting tool. Many other really great features & benefits I don't have time to list. I highly recommend that organisations (large or small) looking for enterprise grade asset management, CMMS, and helpdesk functions neatly packaged into a single on-line system, take a good look at Loc8

Pros: Template driven asset library for customisation of any asset type. Highly functional Helpdesk with good SLA management & notifications system based on both incident & workorder status. Fully integrated Mobile application.
Cons: Reporting is easy to use and functional but can't produce comprehensive custom reporting yet - I believe this is available in their new beta however
Best Uses: Loc8 is used to run the operational aspects of our various facilities management businesses, and for the management of all of our field technicians.
Review Context: I manage and maintain our Loc8 implementation right across the 11 businesses of the ARA Group, which effects several hundred Loc8 users and services over 8000 customers.

using for 12 months zero downtime

If you are looking for an online database I strongly recommend Zoho Creator! There support staff are very helpful and fast to respond. It provides options to change color themes for your databases, and create customized views by combining HTML code and deluge script.

Pros: Free for databases with 1000 or less entries which suits me for now.
Cons: No local version if the net goes down

Amazing customization options

We used SeeControl for monitoring remote containers full of IT equipment. The app we built took 4 hours with SeeControl's help and looks to our company as if we had programmed and deployed an expensive in-house application.

Pros: Very user friendly and visual-driven UI. Lots of options for tracking and managing assets with our own icons, pictures, diagrams and more. Price was right. SeeControl team was very helpful and supportive.
Cons: Visual rule builder took some time to get the hang of. Because there are so many customization options, we had to really think through our business processes.
Best Uses: Asset tracking and monitoring.

We've been using ihelpdesk for about half a year and so far so good. It does a good job help us track issues, and make it easier for us to provide excellent customer support.

Pros: easy to learn and use. good usability. rich features.
Cons: we need iphone client but it's not available. raised a feature request to them, hope it will be available soon.

Using Nolio for managing the automated deployment of our applications has decreased our maintenance window by ten fold.

Pros: We can use the same deployment process for QA, Staging, and Production environments. The operations teams don't need full server access to run the processes since Nolio has it's own permission management.
Cons: The interface is a little outdated.
Best Uses: We use it in QA, Staging, and Production for deployment all 35 of our SaaS applications.

The GPS vehicle tracking devices and fleet management tracker system from Nero Global Tracking is easy to use and gets the job done. I log in to http://neroglobal.com each morning, to make sure my guy's were at the job site on time. During the day i don't need to call them, and the system sends me emails when they are speeding or idling. Work good.

Pros: easy to use, affordable, local implementation in Vancouver. Lots of free one-on-one training to make the most of it.
Review Context: As a business owner and fleet manager I don't have a lot of time to waste. I like things that save me money and are easy to use.
