Our experience with Advanceware was terrible. It felt like we were testing their solution, finding bug after bug, and PAYING THOUSAND OF DOLLARS FOR THE PRIVILEGE! To date, nearly two years after implementing, it still fails to provide accurate inventory counts, reports seem totally unrelated to data we are inputting... its a total nightmare!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Support is terrible. Sales reps are either totally oblivious or a bunch of crooks. Software is crudely designed and fails to deliver on nearly every front.
Best Uses: we have 3 warehouses, 2 retail POS locations, and we purchased AP intelligence and several other add-ons.
Review Context: I am the CTO of a medical corporation based in California. I'm spending the time to write this review because I feel slighted and want to make sure other professionals are not "had" by these crooks.
Avoid AdvancePro! Full of Bugs and terrible customer support

After spending hundreds of labor hours and $15,000+, we are at the point of having to toss the system out and find a new solution. The program is full of bugs, customer support is nearly nonexistent. Each system upgrade has resulted in more bugs and more issues. Support tickets will go unanswered for a week or longer and then the help provided is very limited. The big selling feature of the program was how well it works with Quickbooks. However, this is the biggest failing of the program. A day doesn't go by where we don't have serious conflicts between AdvancePro and Quickbooks.

Pros: There is nothing about the system that works as promised.
Review Context: AdvancePro user for 12 months. After significant investment in both dollars and labor, we have no choice but to find a new solution.

At first glance this seems like a great solution for Quick Books users however upon implementation it becomes apparent that there are many problems which are not easily resolved if at all. An inventory based program should at least be able to add and subtract correctly. Documents disappear and it does not work seamlessly with Quick Books. We cannot trust our inventory count at any given time. We cannot use the POS component as it duplicates sales or takes items out of inventory more than once nor are we able to use many of the other modules. The program does not do what it promises. As of July 2010 we have not been able to contact this company through any means and after having paid $1600.00 for unlimited tech support. Beware do not consider this program.

Pros: If it functionned as promised it would have been a great program however not the case.
Cons: No tech support too many problems we have to do our work twice in order to make sure it is functionning correctly
