Excellent IAAS Cloud Solution

I found it very easy to set up and configure our virtual machines. Unlike some other cloud providers, this is true pay-as-you-go (we found many where there 'cloud' was actually just virtualised servers on a pay monthly model). Uptime has been 100% for us, so haven't dealt with their support. Not the cheapest provider I've seen, but certainly one of the best.

Pros: Very easy to use. Uptime.
Cons: Slightly expensive
Best Uses: Building scalable web apps and also for sharepoint.

Excellent Cloud Based Virtual Server platform

The Symetriq platform looks very impressive and is very intuitive.

Pros: The portal gives you the ability to build a complex datacentre (virtual obv!) very easily. You can spec up the servers as required and scale them up and down easily to deal with peaks in demand. It's much easier to use than any other cloud platform
Cons: Its only pay as you go at present, which is fine for us at the moment. They did say that you will be able to pay on 30 days terms very soon though.
Best Uses: We use it for scalable web hosting, both internally and externally. Our own site peaks during the week but is not used much over the weekend. One of our customers sees peaks at lunch break and at 6pm. We also run our CRM system on it.
