Review for Payment Evolution

Online payroll

The system is fantastic. It was simple to set up the few employees and proceses their payroll. I did not have to write or print cheques as the pay was automatically deposited in employees account. The best feature was the remitttance to revenue Canada as I now save penalty fees.

Pros: Easy to use. Do not need to keep records. No headache of remittance. I access payroll from anywhere.

Cons: We get the same pay every 2 weeks . .I wish there was one click command to process payroll instead of entering time for employees

Review Context: we are a small business. payroll is always difficult to do as I have to keep up to date with changes to deductions. It is also not easy to have the accountants do this work and gets expensive too both in time and $$.

Because time-management is a necessary and intuitive activity, the user interface in task management apps is extremely important. The grid-based interface of Sandglaz is simple, clean and intuitive. In addition, it is reasonably extensible. That is, it can be extended to list personal and project management tasks. If, like me, you procrastinate, then this product is for you. With its easy-to-use interface and simplicity, this is a great product. The added bonus is the intriguing idea of combining personal and professional task management. Review for Wave Accounting

Free Accounting application that saves me a lot of time

Basically, Wave Accounting is a gratis web based application that accountants use to record transactions, to create invoices, and to their current financial position. But Wave has actually loads of other functionalities which surprised me when keeping in mind that we are talking about a free application. Once you managed to set up everything with your online banking (which was not very difficult) , Wave syncronized regularly. Even when you’re not online. Then when you come online it gives you a list of newly imported transactions. When setting up a new customer account you simply have to create a new product or service and type in the date and the invoice number. If you have an invoice you can have Wave send the customer a PDF copy which is very effective.

Pros: Wave is easy to use, it has great currency options and creates appealing reports.

Cons: There could be more options to customize your invoices.

Best Uses: Wave can be used by all types of businesses

Great collaboration tool

I tried out nearly a dozen similar products and ultimately decided to stick with VentureBox Assist because it was straight-forward and easy to use, but still included of all the features I was looking for. It has really helped our team stay coordinated.

Pros: Straight-forward and intuitive All client related records (contact info, phone logs, meeting reminders) in a single place.

Cons: Doesn't sync contacts with Google Apps

Best Uses: Team collaboration and information sharing

I think many freelancers like me have the same problem that sometimes your customers are not paying on time! It is very time consuming to say thank you to customers who pay on time and automatically follow up with customers who don’t. ZenCash started to be a great help for me and now all my receivable management is done by ZenCash.
