Alright, so first things first. BigCommerce is a freaking God send when it comes to hosted online store apps. The interface is simple to navigate, the template system is well organized and easy to customize and the customer support is top notch. We just switched our store to BigCommerce from a competitor and couldn't be happier. We've been selling online for almost 5 years now, so getting us to change software was no easy task. But, after digging into what BigCommerce offered, it was pretty much a no-brainer to make the switch. If you're in the market for an eCommerce platform.... You've gotta check these guys out!!!!

Pros: Ease of use Elegant design Simple to customize SUPER AFFORDABLE

Cons: The only thing that this software is missing is integration with a shipping software like Endicia or Shiprush. However, I've heard that it's coming with the next release.

Review Context: I'm coming at this review from an established web companies perspective. I know there are a lot of new stores signing on to BigCommerce, but I wanted to put in a word for anyone that is already doing a fairly decent amount of volume online.

Review Context: I spent days trying to set up our online gift store www.hostilebacon.com.au. When a friend asked why I wasn't simply using Shopify. Wish he had said something earlier !

Straight forward and Useful

Zoho CRM is straight forward and very easy to use. You are able to set up and start running in no time. Once you are using the system you fall into a routine and the flexibility allows you to modify your processes as you grow and change.

Pros: Custom views have proved to be very helpful keeping track of my leads. I am able to follow and connect with leads I might have missed otherwise.

Cons: Could use a better workflow with Gmail

Review Context: Active user. Mainly sales and business development

User-friendly payroll solution

I have been very impressed with the Payment Evolution payroll application. I found it very intuitive and easy to use. It has all of the necessary features to process payroll quickly and accurately. I would definitely recommend this product!

Review for Huddle.net

Got up in about 3 mins

I started using huddle a couple of months ago to manage a team of bloggers. The team is spread out accross 3 time zones and huddle.net was the easiest way for us to work together, share ideas and documents.

Pros: Easy to implement, cost effective, no need to email the group, white board for brainstorming

Cons: The free account is ad supported

Best Uses: We use it to upload our new posts, images, invoices and group announcements. We also use the white board to flush out blog post topics

Review Context: I'm a new huddle.net user, I'm on the free account.

i spent lot of time managing interviews with excel. Now everything is in one place. You should try the trial version and decide.

Pros: - easy to use UI - easy to get started - easy task management - sharing of resumes & comments with all interviewers is easy

Cons: - doesn't have a automated online programming test module (something like interviewstreet)

Zoho Invoice is an online invoicing software from the Zoho product family, which creates and exports your invoices online. Once an invoice is sent, you can track it or send automated payment reminders and follow-ups. There are many invoice options from which you can choose, such as taxes, discounts, currency, invoice terms, customer notes and so on. Another positive feature is that you can create estimates or quotes for your clients. The software is intuitive enough to start right away generating invoices. Apart from the basic free version there is a paid one, which allows you to dispatch up to 1,500 invoices per month and create five different users.

Cons: Only five invoices per month in the free version

Best Uses: Zoho is the best choice if you are using other Zoho apps

Pros: You can add on support reps (though not in the free version) as well as add in roles (such as which requests goes to which agent, etc.). You can also add in departments and fields so you can track the type of help requests you are receiving


Review for New Relic

Amazing tool

New Relic allows to see performance for each component of the stack on the same chart. I had experience with that before using in-house tools, to measure latency added by Solr, internal API, database, and the site itself - it's so great that finally there's a tool to do that properly. It also doesn't slow down the servers by sending the information (unlike some other monitoring tools like AirBrake).

Cons: The UI is a bit difficult to navigate - the tool has evolved a lot, and because of that there are too many options.
