As a small, specialist, business we needed a system that could keep track of stock movement, sales and help us plan for the future. OrderHarmony provides the tools we need to do this. Easy to use, our staff needed minimum training to get up and running on it and it's simple interface allows them to explore it in depth without worrying about creating errors. OrderHarmony is allowing us to move our Business forward

Review for On Demand Asset and Inventory M2M Monitoring Platform

Amazing customization options
by Jenifer on 2011-03-20 19:39:09

We used SeeControl for monitoring remote containers full of IT equipment. The app we built took 4 hours with SeeControl's help and looks to our company as if we had programmed and deployed an expensive in-house application.

Ease of deployment:

Pros: Very user friendly and visual-driven UI. Lots of options for tracking and managing assets with our own icons, pictures, diagrams and more. Price was right. SeeControl team was very helpful and supportive.

Cons: Visual rule builder took some time to get the hang of. Because there are so many customization options, we had to really think through our business processes.

Best Uses: Asset tracking and monitoring.

Review Context: Operational team lead for IT asset management.

Review for MapYourTag

Tracking Objects Differently with QR Codes
by Rakesh Sharma on 2012-03-26 07:30:21

I thought the concept and execution of MapYourTag was unique and interesting. Because this is such a new technology, QR codes useage and growth will be organic. This means that, as a small business, you can find your own use for it. The good part is that the solution is cheap; thus, returns on investment are almost assured. I definitely recommend MapYourTag, if only to discover its uses for your small business.

Review for Epicor Manufacturing Express Edition

A Cloud-based ERP Solution with a Difference
by Rakesh on 2011-07-21 13:51:18

I was pretty impressed with the solution because it simplifies ERP, provides broad and deep functionality, and offers an array of useful tools for modifying it to your businesses needs. If you like experience coupled with low cost, then Epicor Manufacturing Express Edition is for you. A typical implementation is less than 60 days. “The implementation is solely focused on configuring the system to a customer’s specific needs and, if necessary, migrating their business data"

Review for Smartsheet

A centralized online location to create and manage projects and processes
by Ben on 2010-11-12 03:07:02

While many compare Smartsheet to a spreadsheet, it is much more than that. It is a centralized online location to create and manage projects and processes.

Pros: I really liked: Smartsheet enables you as the owner/manager of the “sheet” to involve contributors without ever requiring them to login to the application. During my test, my clients and friends didn’t have to sign up, although some of them might onc

Cons: No application is perfect and Smartsheet lacks a few things. There is no search function, but I have heard that this is coming very soon. It would also be ideal to see a way to collect web content via a webform into the app, from a survey, for exampl

Review for Quotiply

Takes the Pain Out of the Purchasing Process
by Michele Nachum on 2012-03-12 08:57:30

Quotiply literally helps with the purchasing process by automatically collecting, rating and assessing offers and helping small businesses decide the best contender. Quotiply is more than a quoting software that is just assessing various quotes, it also helps to organize quotes online and captures the information in one place. Instead of communicating with all the different vendors you work with for your business via email, Quotiply takes the information and stores it online and a year later when it is time to renew a subscription, for instance, you don’t have to go searching through your email folders for vendor information.

Pros: The heart of Quotiply is the ability to create demands then passed on to your vendors and help you sort out the quotes they send back.

Cons: Creating Demand Sheets takes some time to learn how

Best Uses: It’s best for businesses that have a certain level of procurement activity and require a way to keep it all organized without creating long email chains. If you only have one or two vendors, Quotiply might not shine out that much. However, if your bu

Review for AdvancePro

Avoid AdvancePro! Full of Bugs and terrible customer support
by ChristmasDesigners.com on 2010-10-26 15:48:08

After spending hundreds of labor hours and $15,000+, we are at the point of having to toss the system out and find a new solution. The program is full of bugs, customer support is nearly nonexistent. Each system upgrade has resulted in more bugs and more issues. Support tickets will go unanswered for a week or longer and then the help provided is very limited. The big selling feature of the program was how well it works with Quickbooks. However, this is the biggest failing of the program. A day doesn't go by where we don't have serious conflicts between AdvancePro and Quickbooks.

Overall rating:
Ease of use:
Features:
Value for money:
Ease of deployment:

Pros: There is nothing about the system that works as promised.

Review Context: AdvancePro user for 12 months. After significant investment in both dollars and labor, we have no choice but to find a new solution.
