Review for Clarizen
Clarizen works the way teams want to work today
by Keean on 2011-10-07 12:26:37
Clarizen is one of the few applications designed specifically for a SaaS delivery model. The SaaS architecture facilitates consistently fast response times, requires little IT intervention, and ensures users always have the latest functionality. It has a clean, intuitive graphic interface and common sense approach to project management that works for experienced PMs as well as the rest of their organizations

Pros: Managers can see what their teams are working on, and have a clear view of a project from minute to minute
Cons: I believe Clarizen can continue to invest in third-party integrations (and the company indicates this is happening) that will make it even more relevant as an enterprise-level solution.

Review for HyperOffice
A great sharepoint alternative
by Jo on 2010-08-26 05:43:18
It is pretty much the most comprehensive web collaboration software out there. It covers almost the entire range of features in the SharePoint & Exchange alternative domains, has sophisticated document management capabilities, and allows mobile access (HyperOffice on iPhone particularly impressed me) all rolled into one.

| Ease of deployment: | ![]() |
Pros: HyperOffice is web based, so it does not require any hardware setup, or any downloads at the user's end, as with SharePoint or some of its alternatives. This intranet design is very simple and logical, allowing employees to easily manage personal info
Cons: Needs a bit of time to master all the functionalities
Best Uses: HyperOffice includes a "publisher" tool through which intranets and extranets can easily be customized to a great extent. "Publisher" is a push button tool, and does not require any designing expertise at all. You can easily manage the look & layout
Review Context: Team leader

Review for AtTask
Most useable PPM solution I've seen
by Anonymous on 2010-11-24 17:46:35
You won't be disappointed with the product, but plan on getting best-practice orientation from an @task consultant. We use @task's integrated issue management system for all IT requests; time tracking; process management for our legal and finance groups; and standard project management functions for all ad-hoc projects. We haven't gotten into the resource management, capacity planning, or portfolio management areas of the application yet.

Pros: Once you get into the product, you quickly see that it's flexibility and ability to deliver data the way you need it is something you love more as you use the product more. Very good solution
Cons: @task can be configured to many ways that its hard to understand what is the best way to do something.

Review for Huddle.net
On functionality and usability
by VMSpecialists on 2012-01-27 21:08:13
Huddle is a great on-line service to manage files and folders related to project management. The space is organized very logically and you get access to an intuitive and simple to use interface, that makes managing files and folders a breeze. I can see that new features will be added soon to make the operations much more easy and interactive.

Pros: Simple structure based on project folder with sub-folders and permissions related to the files located in this sub-folders. Version control is most important feature especially if you are using the Huddle space to manage product development.
Cons: Services are not clearly explained and there is a lot of talk to Huddle staff to get this sorted out and get a clear understanding what they can offer. Some features are not redly available, but alternative backup tools are available other places
Review Context: I manage a software development company to support all kinds of applications and interactive solutions to solve problems, add features and increase productivity with products readily available.
Review for Zoho Projects
Robust and complete project management solution
by Michelle on 2011-09-19 09:59:44
Like many online software tools – project software has become more social than ever. It’s not enough these days to simply know what the “to do” list is and your deadlines. Today online project management software includes a way to interact with your colleagues in real time via the software dashboards. Zoho Projects is seemingly simple from the outset and is made up of four modules and held together with a colorful and interactive dashboard that provides an overview of your “project” stream.” The project stream allows you to view all of your projects and milestones and get a sense of where your team is at in terms of progress

Pros: very intuitive, hassle free add-free Google apps integration, single sign-on easy set up rich media (music, pictures, videos) upload unlimited number of users for sharing
Cons: 1GB of space maybe be small for some businesses but upgrade is cheap need to switch to Zoho writer for a complete editor limited programming/macro in spreadsheets need for yahoo or google email address for sharing
Best Uses: probably the best free productivity suite for small businesses. If you don´t want to pay and are not keen on seeing ads, it is a no brainer.
