Overview

Requesting and approving vacation requests and sick days. Tracking employee documents. Sharing notes and resources in one centralized place for all employees. By automating the busy work of running a business, we are empowering bosses to focus on what really matters. In addition, our social features, for example, providing a venue for employees to voice their ideas or give and receive kudos, provide a vehicle for increasing morale.

How does it work?

Once a company registers with TribeHR, they are given a URL that leads employees to the system, which they can then log into with their own user ID and password. From there, employees can perform a multitude of tasks that normally clutter inboxes or soak up administrators’ time. (Or, if you’re the administrator, your time.)

Vacation Tracking

Through this feature, employees can select the specific days they would like off, and they are given a space to state their reason. Since TribeHR tracks how many vacation (or sick/personal) days the employee has earned, you are better enabled to determine whether to grant the request. In addition, the manager can see who else is requesting days off so that they can immediately see where they will be shorthanded. TribeHR also categorizes the types of off-time the employees take.

Employee Development

Instead of all gathering at 6 a.m. and reciting a company cheer, what if you had an interface where you could build morale and establish goals without making your employees barf? Through TribeHR, employers can set and track goals, host feedback, and store employee performance reviews, complete with notes, comments and skills assessments. In fact, an employer could actually rank employees by their skill set.

Other Cool Stuff

Rather than a convoluted server with folders and files, employees and managers can share notes of varying privacy through the application. A public feed allows employers to post employee kudos, so that everyone can see that Jane Doe exceeded sales goals for the month a week in advance. As earlier mentioned, one could use TribeHR as a central staging point for necessary employee documents and resources, and there is an area to post in-house job openings.
