What is VisionProject?
VisionProject is a powerful web-based project management software platform with modules for, Issue Tracking, Help Desk, CRM, Time Management, Document management, Product and Release management, Asset Management and much more. VisionProject is powerful and offers extensive functionality but is easy to use and flexible at the same time. It supports any project management methodology such as Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, etc. and also support common IT processes such as defined in ITIL/ITSM.

Overview
VisionProject is a lifecycle software for organizations that need a single coherent project and process platform to develop, maintain and support their products, services and customers.
VisionProject supports the Lean and Agile (such as Scrum and XP) way to manage projects with tools such as Task Board, Kanban Board, Burn-Down Charts and Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFD), but can also be used for Traditional Project Management.
In addition to the Project Management functionality, VisionProject also has a HelpDesk/Service Desk Module for managing support tickets, submitted from Emails, Phone Calls or from the built-in web-based Support Portal. Using this module the basic ITIL processes are supported, such as Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management. Up to 13 processes are implemented on customer sites.
To keep track of where your personnel spend their time and effort, you can use the Time Reporting Module in VisionProject. Using this module both project-specific time as well as time spent outside projects can be managed.
VisionProject also contains a Document Management System. With this module you can organize your documents and make sure that only the right people can get access to your sensitive information.
With all modules in combination, VisionProject can also be used for Application Lifecycle Management, i.e. from Idea to Execution and also during the Maintenance and Support phase.
Since VisionProject enables all people in a company to be working with the same system, Communication between people will increase and nobody will feel left out from the information. Experience has shown that the Project Success has been improved significantly by using VisionProject!

Technical Details
VisionProject is Java-based and available as either Installed or Hosted version.
As hosted version, the database and application is run on the servers at Visionera AB. Upgrades are managed by Visionera to assure that the customers are always running the latest version.
The clients are running using a web-browser. All major web-browsers are supported.
The Installed version, which can be installed at any customer's site, uses MS SQL or MySQL as database and then runs on an Tomcat server.

Support for VisionProject is offered in different ways:
* Basic support, which is free for all VisionProject users and includes Web based support 24/7 using VisionProject Support Center and via email.
* Premium support, which includes Web based support 24/7 using the support center, Prioritized email support (24-hour response time is guaranteed, but we normally reply within 1 hour during normal office hours), Possible to chat directly with our support staff using an IM tool.
* Premium plus support, including the same services as Premium Support, but is also includes support via phone/voip during normal office hours (8 AM - 5 PM GMT+1) and online meetings/screen-sharing (if deemed necessary).

VisionProject is a very useful tool for Project Management, Helpdesk, Time Reporting and Document Management. Since it is a web based tool there is no need for maintenance or updates, which saves a lot of time. The tool is very easy to configure and to work with. Since we started to use VisionProject I don't loose track of things anymore and it makes things much more efficient.
