There will be times where it will crash for no apparent reason. I believe we just have so much housed within it and it gets stuck and quits.

The software is very sophisticated but user friendly at the same and is constantly updated and improved.

Great diagnostics for Ultra Tax. The ability in Ultra Tax to open both input and forms screens at the same time is nice.

The layout is very easy to maneuver around with, simple and easy to learn. Integrated software are easy to learn as well, they chose the best software to integrate with.

After over 20 yrs of using their products i do not think they can get any worse.

Consequently there was no real integration between products. CS overcame this problem.

Overall experience is a good one, I enjoy how there are products that "talk" to each other to get things done efficiently.

My firm uses the CS Professional Suite, including Workpapers, Fixed Assets, UltraTax, GoFileRoom, and Practice. Each software is perfect for our needs with extensive features included.

They charge for support on all products except UltraTax. Practice is becoming a dinosaur, and badly needs to be updated.

Each of these programs has its own pros but all of them allow tax and accounting professionals to serve their clients as effectively and efficiently as possible.

It may be difficult to begin working with the software and no prior training/knowledge.

In 2015, it made a significant error in my state filing. I was audited by the state, and based on the error that the software made, I owe the taxes plus $700 in penalties and interest.

Its great for a small to mid size firm who covers all facets of accounting.

The customer service is good however even if it is their software that is the problem they will charge you to fix their issues. We have had two sales teams and both teams have been horrific.

We use UltraxTax with Thomson Reuters. I had some questions about the software and was not able to find the answer online, I used the live chat customer service and they were able to help.

I find CS Professional Suite to be a good product and the customer support is very good.

if i was not approaching retirement, i would have switched a year or two ago.

We are managing all of our tax projects within the CS Suite.  From preparing the return, to tracking clients and where their projects stand, to sending and receiving client documents within the integrated "Drop Box" portal system.

Good software, wish it had some better features

The customer service is good however even if it is their software that is the problem they will charge you to fix their issues. We have had two sales teams and both teams have been horrific. After initial sales they are no help at all. Spending 20K a year with them did not get their attention.

Robust but geared toward large users

It is certainly an all-in-one solution for the needs of a medium-sized firm, however at the time of making the developments to adjust it to the processes of another country it is not friendly in any way. as well as its mobile applications still leave much to be desired.

A robust platform for defined needs.

I like the CS professional suite. I think it produces good reports and good client packages. The software offers many features. If you spend a lot of money you can have all your accounting and reporting packages fully integrate.

Overall, I find the Accounting CS program to be very simple to use.  Similar to using MS Money, which I use for personal finances.

User Friendly interface.

I've had a great overall experience with CS Professional Suite.  I used it in my business everyday and it meets all my business needs.

The system has the ability to be a valuable tool in the day-to-day functions of time management and the other modules set up within the Suite.  It's important to have the proper support group and management team to establish the base lines that are essential to your company.  

Times out too soon!

We use it on a daily basis at our accounting firm to generate checklists and other forms for our audit projects.

Good integration between the different products, but unfortunately to the exclusion of integrating with anything else.

Very average in most respects some products like practice are better than others like UltraTax

My overall experience has been not been good; I demanded a refund for the $6000+ dollars that I paid for the 2020 Form 1040 package; UltraTax does not want to give me a refund; It appears to care less that it knowingly sells a defective tax package!  If you buy UltraTax you will definitely satisfy any masochistic tendencies that you may have!

CS Professional Suite - some parts are better than others.

Thomson Reuters CS is more commonly referred to as UltraTax.  I developed tax software for a competitive product for several years, and I still prefer Creative Solutions UltraTax to what I used to work on. 

UltraTax is the best solution

Great Suite of Products 

CS Professional Suite caused more problems than is solved.  It was expensive to purchase and even more expensive to use because it caused my firm to pay penalties and interest to various taxing agencies because they were unable to make the software work as advertised.  Additionally, the software requires the purchase or subscription to 3rd party software to complete most any task.

I use these products daily,  and overall have had a great experience and would recommend to other companies.
