It's great for keeping track of employee hours and managing payments, and the interfaces are extremely user friendly for the most part. Their customer service is very good as well.

The website occasionally has issues loading, I don't know if it's due to high traffic or some other issue, but it can sometimes be frustrating when the page is unavailable.

I love how simple it is to complete employee entries and being able to account how much money each job is costing me for payroll.

Sometimes it difficult to run reports otherwise it's easy to navigate and customer service is very fast and efficient.

I like that it offers the ability to import data into payroll batches which increases the efficiency of payroll processing.

The cost is a bit pricey otherwise it's very easy to navigate and customer service is very responsive.

What I liked most about this software was the inexpensive price.

What I liked least about Heartland Payroll was that nothing was electronic. I had to call in payroll over the phone each time.

I love the reports and analytics features and the payroll dashboards.

I don't like how sometimes it takes a while to get some updates done.

Some payroll systems are hard to use, but Heartland Payroll+ is easy. I love how they automatically add functions that users have asked for.

It was harder than I thought to add information about employees. I did not realize how much work the initial setup would be. The system is simple to use, but some team members who are not tech savvy have had trouble with the layout.

The people that I have talked to, requested help from have be phenomenal, easy to view reports, and auto payroll service and direct deposit are a plus for me.

At this point in time, I have not seen any cons with the payroll service.

Using heartland just as a user was not the best experience. It was nice for w2 purposes, and being able to clock in/clock out on a daily shift at the restaurant.

Viewing/printing paychecks each week was such a challenge. Most times I would almost get kicked out because my password didn't always register. It was not very organized.

That it's easy to clock in and out. I don't have to remember a lot of steps.

As an employee user, I don't normally experience any interactions other than my paycheck being deposited and my time kept between paychecks.

I save time while completing all the requirements for my payroll by using Heartland Payroll.

The pricing is a little high, but we have recently increased the services.

I did not like anything about this software

The software wasn't the problem its the company employees

Nothing. My employer needs to replace them. I'm researching alternatives soon to present to them.

Not getting paid on time, multiple times... that's always fun. Always excuses without corrections.

As soon as payroll was being processed you had instant access to your paystub, which is very handy with preplanning and bill organization.

The logging in and out every time did become a but difficult when trying to do things in a little bit of a hurried fashion.

I love that I don't have to figure the payroll taxes for our small company, so I happily pay Heartland to handle this for us. They are really nice setting up my account, and every time I have an issue. Since our team only gets paid once a month, it's long enough between logins that sometimes I forget how to do something and mess it up. Everyone on staff that has helped me is always happy to fix anything I mess up.

There seems to be a few glitches in the system with saving payroll changes. The good news is that customer service gave me a few tips on how I can see if our changes saved, and also they are prompt to help me fix any issues.

I have a small business and we use Heartland for our bi-weekly payroll. I don't need to contact them often, but when I do their customer service team is always very helpful and easy to work with.

There are lower cost payroll options available.

Great customer service, tons of additional options, always pays taxes on time

I wish they would have made a way for me to import my construction software that my crew clocks in and out of so I did have to do it in 3 separate software programs.

They are available and accurate. Does not require my time.

Website is not very intuitive. Website requires regular input.

Nothing compared to Sure Payroll the site was not user friendly at all
