Pros and cons

The greatest benefit to this system is the ease of use for our Aides.
I like the integration with the MCOs and the ease of contacting them through the system.
So many additional features to maneuver is what makes it amazing. You can actually learn the software on your own that's how easy it is to use.
Support turn around time is bad. Getting answers when a ticket is created after it's been escalated to a higher tier is BAD.
Customer service is horrible, billing is horrible, the platform is horrible all together. I would never recommend this software ever.
The worst service ever they will take money from you when you don't use there service and have canceled services.

The way we can see the visits, help to do any change in schedule and caregivers and the reports

Cons

When I enter the first time the schedule is not transfer the information to the master week and need to enter manually.

HHA needs alot of improvement and it is not a friendly user system.

Pros

It has a nice way of extracting report and customize them depending on the need.

Cons

EVV is the worst specially with people clocking in/out. It freeze alot and sometimes it take them 10min to be able to access their accounts.

Very hard to deal with customer support, delays in solving issues causes claim denials and lost money on the billing

Pros

Easy to use and self-explanatory software.

Cons

Customer service is very bad. Takes hours on hold to talk to support, weeks to months to have your problem fixed. Some of the issues are still in the work for almost a year

Overall, HHAexchange is great investment for my company. It has cut down in billing time and errors, easier to schedule workers, quick access to clients information including authorized hours and demographics. Accountability and accuracy in evv by clocking on patients phone. Everything is in one program making it easier to access and manage.

Pros

Easy on boarding, easy to learn, available support,Ticket turnaround is quick.

Cons

As time has gone by HHAexchange has grown leaps and bounds. It’s taking longer to work in tickets and complete tasks. The company needs support staff.

My billing if horrible using this product and I'm at the point to hiring an attorney because it is having a negative affect on this agency.

Pros

At this point I don't have anything to say.

Cons

Customer support is terrible and has fixed my billing issue. They have been working on the issue for a year. HHA Exchange is not meeting the EVV requirements for the state of North Carolina, at least for this agency.

HHA for Waiver Clients

I have had wonderful experiences with their EDI team and with their tech support people. I had gotten to know a few of them on a first name basis during our implementation and they were wonderful to work with, they took the time to try to make me get it lol. They went above and beyond to assist us and it was greatly appreciated!!!!

Pros

We only use this for our waiver clients as it is required for billing the CHC Program in PA. I like that all the info is in one place and easy to access.

Cons

Nothing with the software itself was an issue for me.

Live management of the patient care process.

Pros

It's ease of flow to all aspects of the business, from hiring an individual, checking exclusions to admission of a new client to scheduling and providing service to that client.

Cons

Integration was difficult as the training was quick but the HHA Associates truly care about you as a customer and understands the importance of each aspect of your business and how it interacts with HHA.

It is easy to navigate overall. The one thing I like the most now is that I can see the 'daily' Schedule.

Cons

That when you change the master week it does not allow you to what is already there. Kantime had a way to change those visits. Look into this...

Simplification

Customer service always gets an answer. It may not be the one anyone wants to hear but we have a resolution.

Pros

Day to day processes are easier with HHAeXchange. Training can be a little difficult to learn the system and all functionality but over all very easy to use.

Cons

Learning any system can be difficult as HHA is still developing the product on a day to day basis there are still a lot of hiccups that could be worked on in the future.

It really needs special attention so it doesn't seem like a Dollar store App! You can enter visits but it doesn't confirm most times so you are stuff double billing, Nothing for Nurses so we have to pay for other apps. It's slow as well, always having issues. GPS doesn't work well, nothing useful to make me switch to you all.

Pros

Being able to track healthcare credentials and send alerts for expiring credentials has helped operations and compliance.

Cons

Reports do take a couple minutes to load and there are frequent outages of the service. Employees sometimes have a hard time using the system while clocking in and out.

HHA is easy to use for the most part- It would also be helpful to be able to pull up all changed and discontinued medications in a easy fashion. It would also be very appreciated is orders could be edited after being saved, as errors can sometimes be noticed after they are printed.

Client medications, POC and calendars and hours authorized

Cons

It is not easy to print out reports. I would like to see easy ways to print out what you need to get performance and targets for review in QA.

Pros

Used it to check against timesheets. Make sure staff was clocking in and out.

Cons

That you always had to link calls. And when you linked them they stayed on the dashboard. With ClearCare everything was much easier. You could color code shifts. For every step you had to save or it would disappear.

Over all it's better than other software I have used, but there is still room for improvement.

Pros

It user friendly and allows the agency to customize it to meet our needs

Cons

Too many technical glitches. Support Center takes way too long to answer. You can be on hold for over 45mins sometimes.

Pros

HHAX's reporting and compliance functionalities would be what I would say I like the most about the software. Most reports are readily available and the software offers an option for customizable reports. HHAX also offers multiple methods of electronic visit verification (EVV) to curtail fraud, waste and abuse. Another great aspect of this software is the customer support. Most issues reported are usually resolved on the first call. If the customer support technician is unable to resolve the issue in the initial call; the technician will follow up and provide updates until resolution.

Cons

Although software updates are necessary, there have been instances where some reporting functionalities were removed when a new version is available.

easy to use. self taught. lots of features that help the business growth. Reports are easy to find and most important accurate. great seminars to attend as well when new features are available.

Cons

the customer service has no follow up set up. you can call 10 times and "they will call you back" don't hold your breath! Half of the time your better off figuring it out yourself.

An overall solution

Used this software for a period of 6 months before returning to Alora Home Health Care Systems.

Pros

This program acts as an overall solution to HHA/PCA/Caregiver scheduling and offers an array of features that really surprised me. The focus here is primarily on streamlining the scheduling of caregivers for contracted patients and in that realm alone, HHA Exchange is practically unrivaled. You can focus on other Quality Assurance related issues while HHA Exchange takes the leg work out of scheduling and rescheduling.

Cons

The customer service agents for this company are not as attentive or patient as those for other Home Care software companies that I have used. This is the only negative that I can offer.
