Resign - 2026 Pricing, Features, Reviews & Alternatives

Resign is a free, web-based AI resignation letter generator designed for individual employees across all industries and job roles. Users complete an input form with details about their job and circumstances, and the tool produces a tailored, professional resignation letter in approximately 30 seconds. The generated letter can be reviewed, edited, downloaded, or printed directly from the browser, with no installation or account required.

The platform draws on user-submitted details modeled after HR professional knowledge to produce letters calibrated to each user's specific situation. Beyond generation, Resign provides a library of resignation letter templates and samples, industry-specific examples (including role-specific cases such as teaching assistants), and blog guides covering how to write, format, and address resignation letters. These resources support users who prefer to draft or refine letters independently.

Resign addresses the practical needs of both departing employees and their employers. For employees, it supports a professional tone that helps preserve workplace relationships and secure positive references. For employers, a clearly worded letter that specifies resignation intent and last working day aids transition planning. The tool requires no subscription, no professional writing assistance, and no prior experience composing formal correspondence.
