Tiara: My name is Tiara. I'm a front of the house manager and I give Samsung Pay four out of five stars. And for more reviews like this click below. Before Samsung Pay I really wasn't using NFC, I was actually doing more of like cash payments, but then I realized that wasn't really efficient, especially with the pandemic so I switched over to Samsung Pay and other NFC terminals. The reason I chose Samsung Pay is because it's much more efficient than actually doing like physical transactions. And because Samsung is the biggest provider under the Android platform so I want to reach out to that market to kind of bring them into our business. It was actually pretty easy to get started with Samsung Pay, everything is pretty much digital and it guides you step by step. And also on the user end, Samsung Pay is preloaded into all Samsung phones so there's no step involved for the customer as well. Recommendations for Samsung Pay is, one, is a little bit convoluted as far as its interface goes, so just a lot of widgets and a lot of buttons to press over it. So it's a little bit of a learning curve. And also, if you're using Samsung Pay to send money to a friend, that's not really a thing with Samsung Pay. So if that's a big issue for you might want to consider that.

Overall, it was a good experience. They still need to work on a couple of stuff regarding the interface, though at the end of the day, it does what it has to do, which is help you pay for stuff
I like that it did the job, you need help in your Samsung devices to pay?, Samsung pay is a solution.
I actually had some credit cards that just didn't work with Samsung pay, they did work with the competition, but somehow they just didn't wanna work with Samsung pay

I've never had a problem with the processing of payments, which makes it very secure. Additionally, the interface is user-friendly and dependable. If you are familiar with mobile payment apps, you can conveniently use your phone instead of your physical credit card to make payments.
Despite its security and reliability, I've noticed that this particular payment method isn't universally accepted everywhere, which has been somewhat disappointing. Its adoption hasn't reached the widespread level I had initially anticipated. Perhaps, given enough time, we'll witness a significant increase in its usage. I must acknowledge that Google Pay outperforms it in this realm, providing a more seamless and widespread payment experience.

It was not a bad experience in the early days of the app, but honestly it doesn't seem as widely used as I thought it was supposed to be. If it and I don't know it then they should find a better way to inform Samsung mobile phone users. Perhaps a series of rolling notifications to let me know it's accepted at every terminal Google pay is. I just don't know much about the app anymore. It would help if I were reminded.
I liked how it was integrated with my Samsung mobile Phone. It made in app purchasing quick, and the app is intuitive if you have a Samsung Phone.
I am a purist so I almost always have my wallet and debit card on me. When the app first came out I was keen to use it, but over time Google Pay just proliferated. This may not still be the case but when the Samsung Pay app first came out it was not accepted at many POS terminals near me. So I stopped using it. Then recently I had a few experiences where I happened to leave my wallet at home. I had a new Samsung Phone but had not enabled the app. I also did not remember my debit card to enter it in. But somehow Google pay was working. It was because I had used it on my desktop to purchase something online and it saved my information. I was saved! Ever since then I have used Google pay. Google did a better job of integrating it. Perhaps it was just my luck, but I have also never had a terminal not accept Google pay.

I have tons of benefits by using samsung pay. I personally think it is much safer than google pay, but samsung phone itself is very valuable when it comes to security, so I should be always aware of it.
I travelled to South korea often. As Samsung pay user, it is very accessible every store and restaurants as apple pay is very limited even though they just introduce the system in south korea. I really like about paying for tube fare with my phone, and I don't need to worry about losing my wallet.
One of the critical cons about samsung pay is if you lose your phone, it becomes very complicated problem. And also, If your phone is on low battery, samsung pay is not working. I also had some trouble using samsung pay while travelling other countries where they don't have NFC payment system.

It is simple to use and to work with in an integrated Samsung environment.
At the beginning I had problems with payments, but these were card issuer issues. But maybe the app could have told me something.

It's the most reliable app from a trustworthy company like Samsung. Samsung Pay holds its promise of trust, authenticity, security, and secrecy of our data.
There is nothing I dislike about this software, but I would recommended that it be made available for IOS and other Android devices other than Samsung devices.

I really like this software because it is easy to use. Transaction security is at a high level. Very good application, similar to Apple Wallet for IOS devices.
However, this application is not the fastest, like other payment methods. But excellent for patient people.

Very good software. I don't bring my wallet anymore. haha.
Very convenient. If I don't have internet, I can still process payments thru offline payments up to 5 transactions. All my cards are stored and can't be used without authentication.
Maybe on their next update, they can maximize the offline transactions to more than 5.

Simple payment on any terminal. Its nice to track everything in one place!
I like being able to pay for things with my phone. Its super simple to use. The key thing that makes me love Samsung Pay vs other digital wallet apps is the addition of MST. I can pay with my phone even though its not a smart terminal because Samsung Pay creates a magnetic pulse that mimics swiping your card.
I hate that it constantly hangs out at the bottom of the screen. Wish there was a way to make it not be in the way of navigation buttons. Additionally MST was removed from the S21 so its becoming less useful.

Works great! I enjoy it and use it all the time. I highly recommend it.
Works great, fast, easy to setup and use and is convenient as opposed to carrying my wallet. If I forget my wallet I can still pay for things.
Doesn't work on rooted phones which stinks for power users. I wish it would work with rooted phones and it would be perfect!

I liked the fact that I could use my Debit or Credit card on my phone and have it as a virtual card. There are times when we as men forget our wallet. This feature to have your card digitialy inserted into your phone is a easer way for paying for products especially when you forget your wallet like myself when i got to checkout at walmart to pay for my items but luckily samsung pay was by my side to help me fix the issue.
The thing that i liked least about the software is that when the system is down there is little to no help in fixing an issue with your account until they are in the office for working hours. Also i could not withdraw at an atm of my choice if it was not that of the entity then i was denied access to my funds.

Its a great product, It would be much easier if it could be used by many services such as amazon, wish and many more
Samsung pay, Its actually really underrated. Its a quick way to pay and i think it should be an option for in every payment section. I honestly think it makes things much easier.
It was not there for when i wanted to pay for different things. Mainly because there was no option for it

Samsung Pay simplifies our payment methods and reduces the need for expensing purchases.
With a single swipe on my phone, I can access our company credit card and pay for equipment and expenses in-store.
My single concern with Samsung Pay is the ability to separate my personal cards/account from our corporate ones.

Just for SAMSUNG only.
I am 100% confident that any of my payment using Samsung pay is secured. Using mobile payment is very convenient and more safer when paying in merchants.
The perks of this good application is for Samsung user only. The other device or mobile phone cannot avail and enjoy this kind of perks.

I love the convenience but its need for wanting you to interact with it can be annoying.
I like the fact that it’s on your phone without needing to download anything. Being able to only take your phone and not your whole wallet is a major plus. Fingerprint identification is also nice. Receipts emailed to you regarding products paid for is a great feature that keeps you in the know for where your money is going through the app.
I have an issue with the “opening slide” being on the bottom of my phone (S8+). There have been many times when I opened it without wanting to. I also do not like notifications sent that a particular location uses Samsung Pay AFTER I leave. It would have been more helpful to let me know ahead of time. I also would like to be able to get a list of stores that take Samsung Pay. I’ve scoured the web looking for such a list but haven’t run across it. The app has incentives that pop up from time to time for points and upping your “level” but there’s no way to turn it off.
