sync. overview

What is sync.?

sync. is a cloud-based AI lip sync and visual dubbing platform that takes video and audio inputs and generates frame-accurate, synchronized lip movements across 95+ languages. Accessible via a no-code web studio and a REST API with Python and TypeScript SDKs, sync. serves individual content creators, development teams embedding lip sync into applications, and high-volume enterprise production pipelines. Plugins for Adobe Premiere Pro and ComfyUI extend the platform into established post-production workflows, while webhook support and an MCP Server enable async and AI-assisted integrations.

The platform offers multiple proprietary lip sync models, including lipsync-2, lipsync-2-pro, react-1, and sync-3, each optimized for different quality-speed-cost tradeoffs. Core inference capabilities include frame-by-frame face detection, facial landmark tracking, audio waveform analysis, active speaker detection for multi-person videos, and obstruction detection for partially occluded faces. lipsync-2-pro applies diffusion-based super resolution for fine detail preservation across beards, teeth, and facial features. react-1 adds expressive lip sync with emotion and head movement control. sync-3 uses a global shot-level architecture that generates all frames simultaneously, handling close-ups, extreme angles, and obstructions natively, and also supports image-to-talking-video generation from a static face. Compositing includes skin tone matching, lighting consistency, and edge blending on modified face regions.

Target industries include e-learning and corporate training, marketing and advertising, film and post-production, entertainment and gaming, social media content creation, and media and broadcasting. Batch API support handles up to 500 videos per operation for large-scale localization workflows. A video dubbing pipeline with TTS integration, voice cloning support for up to 50 clones on the Scale plan, and usage-based pricing across tiered plans, including a free tier with three generations per month, allow teams to match platform capabilities to production scale and budget.
