The new user interface is beautiful. The system runs fast, and it does keep an edge over Mac alternatives in managing apps, and most of the software existing out there.

I've been using Windows 11 ever since it was released. It's new features have been good and useful, although some UI designs were better in Windows 10.

Not recommended for at home use

I am really enjoying Windows 11, and continuing to learn about all it has to offer. Like everything these days it takes time, to get comfortable with new and improved programs. Change is a part of just about everything now and I see Windows 11 as a positive one.

The user interface is remarkably contemporary and aesthetically pleasing.
However, there are still certain features within Windows 11 that retain elements from Windows 10 and have not been updated.

Windows has been a reliable operating system for years.

Easy to use and versitile

Not the biggest update so far, but good start, the start menu and smart app control are the only thing notable in the upgrade, a few tweaks here and there, and the only thing that you do love is there isn't any constant updates or pop ups that force you to update the OS. 8/10 recommend if you want a change.

An overhaul from windows 10 that's worth a shot

I use it for productivity and gaming. Connectivity is excellent as can connect any of my devices easily. Bluetooth ones particularly were once a pain but now my system remembers them. Updates are frequent but not too so.

Windows 11 has all the best bits and chopped out the bad bits

Overall, my experience with Windows 11 is a very positive one. I've been primarily a Windows user since the early or mid-1990s and have always looked forward to the added features of the latest Windows version - except Windows ME, which was a pointless disaster in my humble opinion.

Minha primeira experiência com esse sistema operacional, foi quando eu troquei meu notebook e o novo veio com esse sistema, no início achei que não iria me adaptar, mas depois com o uso diário fui me aperfeiçoando a ele e hoje vejo que ele é mais fácil do que eu pensava. Vale muito a pena trabalhar neste ambiente. Recomendo.

My overall experience is good, my only issues are with laggy virtual desktop switching and with backup features (I use a third part software)

Overall, my experience with Windows 11 was positive. I appreciated the new interface and features, which made using the operating system more enjoyable and efficient. While the initial setup process was a bit of a hassle, once I had the operating system up and running, I didn't encounter any significant issues or problems. Overall, I would recommend Windows 11 as a solid and modern operating system that offers many useful features and a great user experience.

So right now I can do email because I use a cloud based browser, Chrome, which i had to download. I am missing Filemaker, which means I cannot do any database business. I am missing Wordpefect, which means I cannot do any word processing. I am missing the Block tax program.  None of there are free programs. Even if I were to buy and install them, I would sti be missing my fonts. So I w il be basically off today until after the Geek tech comes over and takes a look. for $125/hour.  I hope he can restore the damage. Otherwise we will have to spend a bundle to buy the missing programs and then configure them.  

Update stole my files

We have been migrating in recent months to this new operating system and it has been positive in the sense that we have more modern and secure equipment in terms of updates and threats.
