Pros and cons

In just a few initial discussions, Zenskar's efficiency and capability impressed us. Their ready-made features, like minimum commitments and credit rollovers, perfectly aligned with our needs.
Their ability to overcome obstacles with creativity and resourcefulness is a testament to their commitment to help customers succeed.
The high availability of support and their desire to learn and be improved, which is the most important things in a startup at its beginning.
Our pricing experiments are no longer bottlenecked by developers.
They've even built a couple of specific little features we wanted. Can't be more happier on that front.

Not much to mention. Whenever we encounter a bug, we report it to them via Slack, and they promptly resolve it.

It automated our billing cycle, from invoice creation to payment follow-ups. This automation eliminated manual errors and saved significant time. As we grew, Zenskar kept pace, maintaining clear financial visibility throughout our rapid scaling.

Pros

User-friendly with a simple setup and excellent support. The APIs are powerful with automated connectors with our databases, offering us the flexibility to meter usage any way we want and bill for it. The robust RevRec tool also enabled us to generate accurate financial reports.

Cons

We encountered some bugs during the setup, but Zenskar’s tech team was there to support us, and they handled everything seamlessly.

Pros

Zenskar is extremely flexible with its APIs and webhook connectors. They have connected with Snowflake and automated rating and billing for the usage components. Their documentation is on par as well, with all-time handholding on Slack. Really happy with them.

Cons

The dashboard they are still improving, and it takes a little getting used to. But overall, it’s great.

The flexibility to handle complex pricing models and the ease of customization have been crucial. We can configure everything exactly the way we need to run our business efficiently. The support team is also incredibly responsive, always ready to assist us via Slack.

Cons

We had a few back-and-forths with the team during the initial setup. However, once the workflow was configured, it was smooth sailing. The platform works smoothly and fulfils our needs effectively.

Before Zenskar, billing was a nightmare for us – with manual calculations, slow customer delivery, and errors. But Zenskar automated the entire workflow – and helped us focus our time on more high-value tasks.

Pros

Zenskar is flexible enough to handle our usage-based pricing with uplifts and overages. It automated our entire billing workflow – integrated with Salesforce, so any quote created on the platform automatically created contracts on Zenskar, integrated with Redshift to aggregate data, and NetSuite to sync journal entries for real-time revenue recognition.

Cons

I don't have much to complain about. To configure complex contracts, I sometimes have to contact the Zenskar team. They respond quickly on Slack and resolve my queries in hours.

Zenskar seamlessly handled our pricing models, automated invoicing process and eliminated constant billing errors. We saw a 4% uplift in cash flow by improving our billing accuracy. Zenskar also integrated with our ERP/CRM for seamless revenue recognition and gave us full visibility into consolidated billing and usage data for better decision-making.

Cons

Nothing much at the moment. We got up and running within a week. They are a very driven team. Promptly available via Slack for any queries, updates, and bugs.

Implementing Zenskar completely transformed our AR workflow. By automating billing and collections, we eliminated hundreds of hours previously spent on grunt work each month. Having all the AR metrics in one place (pending invoices, aging reports, outstanding balances) gave us clear visibility of our business performance. Was there a ramp-up period to get everything configured? Sure, but their responsive support via Slack made that process smooth. Any upfront hassle was 100% worth it to finally get our usage-based billing under control.

Pros

Zenskar finally solved our constant nightmare with usage-based billing and receivables. We eliminated undercharging and revenue leakage from invoicing errors completely and recovered around 4% more revenue just from getting the billing right with Zenskar. It automated the entire invoicing process, from tracking usage to making sure customers get accurate invoices with automated communications. Their reporting also gave us clarity on cash flow. We can check on any pending invoices, see breakdowns by customers, understand our outstanding receivables...it's all there. Made my life much easier.

Cons

Some minor bugs here and there, but we have open communication with the Zenskar team via Slack, and even a year into using their platform, they fix bugs raised by us promptly.

Zenskar has been an absolute lifesaver for our lean finance team. We simply didn't have the bandwidth to juggle between spreadsheets and manually do billing and revenue recognition. Zenskar seamlessly plugs into our systems - ingesting order data from the CRM, automated invoicing, payment reminders, reconciled payments from our payment processors, automated revenue schedules, and synced journal entries with the general ledger in Quickbooks. It's allowed us to stay sane while scaling our billing and rev rec processes rapidly. Stellar product!

Pros

Zenskar is a much-needed solution for our hybrid sales-led/product-led growth model. I appreciate how their flexible platform allowed us to configure usage-based pricing with all the different tiers, discounts, commitments, etc., without involving engineers. With their no-code integration with HubSpot and usage data sources, we were able to automate our entire invoicing and collections based on real customer data. The real star of the show was Zenskar's Rev rec module which handled real-time revenue recognition for us based on accrual accounting principles, synced it with Quickbooks, and helped us to close books faster.

Cons

Nothing much to complain about. Their support was excellent right from the get-go. The Zenskar team configured our pricing model and rev rec rules. We ran into some minor bugs initially, but they were lightning-fast in addressing them over Slack. They've even built a couple of specific little features we wanted. Can't be more happier on that front.
