There comes a time when you need to put away the stack of dusty external hard drives and, finally, upgrade the amount of online storage space that you are using.
There are plenty of hosting options out there and a lot of apps already provide some file sharing capabilities (e.g. Slack saves attachments and they are searchable/accessible). Before you make the purchasing plunge, you'll want to get a better idea of what to look for in file sharing software. We've put together a checklist below that should help you answer those questions.
