GetApp.Com Launches Business Software Live Demos and Trials in the Cloud

Directly from a listing, prospects will be able to click on a "Try IT Now" button that triggers a request to test the desired application in a dedicated IT environment.

Until today, only SaaS vendors have had the ability to easily offer online sales demos and proofs of concept (POCs) of their application. For business software delivered on-premises or as virtual appliances, the pre-sales phase often requires costly and time-consuming tasks such as setting up a dedicated server, copying gigabytes of software or shipping machines and people to the prospective client's offices.
