GETAPP.COM: Who are you and what is your role in the company?
CHAMPLIN: Jerry Champlin, CEO.
GETAPP.COM: Can you briefly present your management team?
CHAMPLIN: Harold Montano - SVP Sales and Operations, Tania McEvoy - VP Finance, and HR Erik Cunningham - Director, Product Development and Engineering.
GETAPP.COM: Are you a cloud or a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company?
CHAMPLIN: Yes, we have been providing our SaaS offering since 2000.
GETAPP.COM: How do you use and promote usage of cloud computing?
CHAMPLIN: Direct as well as through Channel Partners. We have seen that cloud infrastructure is an intricate and important component of both enterprise and resellers as it provides significant cost savings over owning the infrastructure. To alleviate additional cost pressure, we work with outsourcing partners to move components of the infrastructure to the cloud.
GETAPP.COM: What are the points of difference of your solutions?
CHAMPLIN: Extremely cost effective; Easy to implement; Highly flexible; Can manage and monitor any application regardless of location all in one portal.
GETAPP.COM: How would you like to be evaluated by a prospect?
CHAMPLIN: Cost, flexibility, speed and ease of implementation.
GETAPP.COM: Why do your customers buy from you?
CHAMPLIN: Absolute Performance offers a cost effective SaaS model, providing extreme visibility throughout the entire IT infrastructure. We also provide end-user monitoring, web and stress testing solutions. Our NOC support is available 24x7x365.
GETAPP.COM: Can you mention some of your key clients?
CHAMPLIN: Small business to enterprise companies and hosting companies looking to provide application performance monitoring to their new and existing customers.
GETAPP.COM: What do you see as the key trend emerging in the industry?
CHAMPLIN: Adoption of the Cloud in enterprise companies in the hybrid model.
GETAPP.COM: What is THE most important message you feel you should get across to someone considering buying your solutions?
CHAMPLIN: A critical part of delivering an application from the cloud is to monitor and manage the application for performance and end user satisfaction. The challenge is to be able to stand up monitoring in the cloud quickly and provide the 24×7 management required by "always on" applications. Absolute Performance's application monitoring is delivered as a service which significantly lowers cost and guarantees performance.
GETAPP.COM: Thanks for your time, Jerry.
