Happy New Year! We hope you took some time to spend the holidays with loved ones and celebrate your achievements this past year. We did the same thing here at GetApp; for us, that involved reviewing our top 10 posts of 2016. And we discovered few interesting trends.

Two of our 10 most-viewed posts discussed Skype for Business. One reviewed how it differs from Skype, while the other shared alternative collaboration apps with live/video conferencing.

Two more of our top 10 most-viewed posts profiled Android apps (for finance and project management and planning, respectively). By contrast, just one of the top 10 addressed iOS apps.

And while MailChimp remained top banana in GetApp's latest Category Leaders ranking for email marketing software, our readers still want more choices: GetApp's article on alternatives to MailChimp was one of our top five most-viewed posts of 2016.
