"With Sleek Bill You Only Pay for the Features You Use” – Interview With Radu Hasan, CEO of Intelligent IT

We asked Radu Hasan, a few questions about his company and view of the markets they serve.

GetApp:** Who are you and what is your role in the company?**

I'm Radu Hasan, CEO of Intelligent IT, makers of Sleek Bill, an easy to use invoice and billing software designed for freelancers and small businesses.

GetApp:** Can you briefly present your management team?**

Along with my co-founders, Ioana Hasan, Product Manager, and Mircea Capatina, Marketing Manager we've built a team of 20 great players in the past 6 years. We think the team is the most important in a business! We founded Intelligent IT in 2006. Straight out of school, or in Ioana's case, still studying, we did not have a lot of experience, but we had a strong desire to succeed in life and to accomplish something. This year, we took our first step into the International Market, with Sleek Bill.

GetApp: How do you benefit from cloud computing as a company?

With cloud solutions we are more inter-connected and have more mobility in the use and sharing of information that we do not consider extremely important in terms of a privacy.

GetApp:** How does your solution differentiate from the products and services offered by competitors?**

Sleek Bill's magic ingredient lies in enchanting the customer with its simplicity and beauty. In product terms, this translates into a simple workflow and an interface that focuses on usability and esthetics over cluttered menu structures. We did not want to add redundant features so we focused on the essential needs of our target audience: freelancers and small businesses. Based on their feedback we develop and add new options. With Sleek Bill you pay and get only the features you need. Beyond this, Sleek Bill has a few other aces up its sleeves: we don't charge our customers a percentage of their revenues. Morally, this would be wrong, just because you earn a lot more, doesn't mean the software does extra work in generating the invoice. In fact, we don't charge any fee beyond the purchase. With Sleek Bill you get a lifetime license and qualified support and service. Finally, I would like to mention that we greatly value our relationship with our customers and we always try to listen to them and work with them to turn Sleek Bill into the invoicing software that best suits their needs.

GetApp: Why do your customers buy from you?

We believe there are businesses out there who just want a simple and efficient invoice management solution that is easy to use. There are also quite a few businesses that do not have full-time access to the Internet and want an invoicing software that will also be available offline. For this criteria, Sleek Bill is currently the most effective solution. Going hand in hand with this is the fact that, unlike many of our competitors, we have a one-time fee that is fairly low and provides lifetime access.

GetApp:** Can you mention some of your key clients?**

We focus on small businesses and freelancers at this time but our clients range from B2B to B2C across various industry sectors. Some are even from outside of the US. GetApp:** Which technology company do you most admire?**

Apple because of their obsessive focus on user experience.

GetApp: Which technology leader do you most subscribe to in terms of vision for the future?

Elon Musk. He's an entrepreneur with a great vision for the future. His ideas and philosophy continue to inspire me to innovate and develop products that offer real benefits.

GetApp: What are the top three software tools you use for your business?

Google Analytics, Sugar CRM and Sleek Bill. :) Yes, we eat our own dog food.

GetApp: What do you see as the key trend emerging in the industry?

Cloud solutions are definitely the emerging trend in most industries. Cloud-based solutions offer several benefits such as mobility and anywhere computing and they also tend to be easier to monetize and integrate with other platforms. Despite the advantages, there are still many people that are not willing to put their sensitive data (like invoices and client data) in another company's cloud. Privacy is extremely important for many and the classic on-premises invoicing software (such as Sleek) is still the right choice.

GetApp: What is THE most important message you feel you should get across to someone considering buying your solutions?

To say it in a short phrase: with Sleek Bill you only pay for the features you use and if it meets a company's needs, then there will be no other better solution out there! There are a lot of options out there depending on what you need or want. Your billing partner must provide you the best possible solution.
