Aside from being able to organize and manage your data, you can use it for auditing and tracking with its various tools. You can monitor who downloads files from your account as well as how often they download, keep a record of your files sent, and see a record of sent files and recipient email addresses by their dates. Additional security features on Workstream include an FTP with a secure online workspace, a way to improve productivity in a safe and secure application, and advanced IT resources.
If you're looking for a way to make your daily work duties simpler, Workstream will be perfect for you. When you sign up for Workstream, you are given the chance to start with a free trial. The free trial is risk-free and does not require the use of a credit card. You will be able to share and send files and folders with the free trial, along with storing and syncing files, accessing your business content, and creating custom branded emails. The first screen after signing in is the Overview. From this page you can everything you sent recently with their name, status, where they were sent to, what you have received recently, and anything expiring in the next two days.
If you want to send a file, click on the Send Files tab. From here you will have a screen that gives you fields to fill out, such as who they are going to, subject, the ability to upload it from your computer, and you can even set expiration options. Additional send options include password protecting your file, verifying recipient identity, and getting a return receipt.
You can also add, edit, and delete folders for more organizational options. Click on the Folders tab at the top of the page and you will see a list of all your folders, including their name, the date it was modified, and what kind of folder it is. You can also add files or create folders from this screen.
There are also great tools and features for IT managers that are specifically designed for your line of work. Workstream will let you add and remove any users you want, and set read-only permissions on any folders that you don't want edited. You can also apply your own controls when you decide to share files with specific domains, and you can set custom passwords that are required to open certain applications on mobile devices for added security.
With Workstream, you are able to choose from a variety of membership plans in order to find one that works for you. This means if you're on a limited budget, you can still access their cloud. There are two main categories of memberships; Secure File Transfer and Collaboration Suite. Under each category you can choose from the Professional membership or the Enterprise membership. The Professional memberships are less expensive but also have fewer features than the Enterprise.
