I used Airparser to create excel sheets from old mailing address lists that were preformatted to fit on printable labels in Microsoft Word. I was able to extract things like street address, zip code, and even more specific things like "surname". That's what impressed me the most - it could look at John Smith, recognize that as a name, and extract "Smith" into its own column because that's the surname. Definitely will be using this again in the future.
Airparser is the higher-powered version of their sister software Parsio. Compared to Parsio, Airparser is able to handle more complicated data structures and accepts multiple GPT prompts at once. I tried Parsio at first and like did like it but had some projects that required me to try Airparser. It absolutely lived up to my expectations, and the AI functions worked great.
Much like Parsio, Airparser isn't great at detecting gaps in data. For example, if I tell it to look for house number, town, and zip code, and there's one entry without a zip code, it'll take an incorrect zip code form another address or disregard the entry entirely. As GPT and Airparser evolves, I'm sure this can be fixed. Can also be worked around by cleaning up your data before inputting into Airparser, which is what I've been doing.

various data processing tasks. The ability to extract data from different types of documents including PDFs, emails, HTML, txt files, and even scanned images is particularly impressive. Furthermore, its capability, and really would recommend if any ask because its moving straight up
digitize handwritten notes and lists is quite impressive. These features could potentially save a lot of time and effort in data processing tasks
the accuracy of data extraction might depend on the quality and complexity of the input documents. Also, there could be challenges related to privacy and security of sensitive data. Lastly, the cost which consider high to the market .

Good. It is helpful that they provide a trial, so you can test a set up before committing to a paid plan. Overall - Recommendation!
I have tried different email parsers in the past. Airparser's setup is user friendly for the non-coders amongst us.
If you want to extract data from emails and create Google Sheets, you need to use Zapier as connection. The term Airparser uses is "Webhook". It all makes sense when you understand it. But as a newbie, it takes a minute to understand. How-To guides exist, but could be more prominently featured on the website.

Easier to get setup and running. Good performance in finding data across variety of documents and quality
Combines OCR with GPT data finding that works, with an API
Hard to manage and edit extraction schema, fields are listed in order added and cannot be grouped or ordered.

Beyond the functionality, the team behind Airparser is incredibly helpful and responsive. I wish this product and team success, and look forward to seeing what else they create.
I am thrilled with Airparser thus far. It has transformed several key functions of our business and I look forward to finding other ways to implement across our organization. Airparser is so easy to use I was set up within five minutes, and it integrates perfectly with our other softwares. I also had been looking for a software that would analyze non-traditionally structured documents like the industry reports we've been manually transcribing. Using GPT technology, I described what I wanted and it has operated with 100% accuracy. So impressive and user-friendly, and they've really created a well-rounded product. So far, I have reduced 5-10 hours of weekly manual labor with Airparser. This is a tool all businesses should explore in 2024!
Nothing I can think of - just wish I had found it sooner!

I was initially impressed because it was able to quickly take out some data, but upon slightly changing the extraction schema to put the data in a list, it no longer worked and then I ran out of credits.
I didn't like that I ran out of credits before I was able to accomplish what I wanted to do / still figuring out how to use the extraction schema. I tried a different software and I was able to extract the info I needed without running out of credits, so I decide to use that instead for my website. I also tried reaching out to customer service and they didn't help me.
Hey there, thank you for your feedback! Airparser offers a generous trial plan with all features enabled, allowing you to test everything. You can parse up to 30 documents - PDF pages, emails, images, etc., which is typically enough to make a decision. Additionally, we often provide extra free credits when customers contact us so feel free to contact our customer service via live chat or email, and we'll add some free credits for testing.

Overall, Airparser is a really great user-friendly tool that delivers exactly what it promises and more.
As someone who had never used a data extraction or document parser tool before, Airparser was incredibly easy to set up, although there was a slight learning curve when it came to the terminology. I nearly bailed when I read "it's time to create an Extraction Schema," but the tool was, in actuality, incredibly easy to set up and user-friendly. They offer a generous free tier, but the paid plans are...
The only feature that seems to be missing to me is the ability to collaborate with teammates.

User friendly, straight forward to use. Did what we needed but ultimately out of our budget.
The fact that it copuld do exactly what we need-- sift through multiple pdf to extract totals.
It was a little bit too pricey for our budget.

I am a data scientist at a small start-up researching some parsing tools for my product team.
It works the way you'd expect a more traditional OCR-based parsing tool to work, but you can specifically extract what you need.
I wish there were pre-built templates built in that I could quickly use to parse the type of document I'm working with. Maybe they should use a LLM to create such templates?

Processes that would otherwise not even be feasible like data cleanups, data extractions, and migrating to a new app with existing data become possible with these tools
sometimes it would be inconsistent in extracted data despite consistent formatting and accuracy in all other documents so requires a double check for validation

The user interface is very intuitive. The speed of the proccess is also acceptable and the easy way to find support if required
Could have a longer trial period, with more functions available.
