Great Software

2016-03-22

I've previously used IBM's Cognos TM1 software, and while that software is great, it definitely requires a lot more resources (dedicated servers, etc...) to implement it and keep it running.

Pros

Ease-of-use Ability to connect to many data sources Ability to create front-end user reports Ability to add many business users with varying security levels

Cons

Office Connectivity - there is an Office Connect module available with Adaptive, but the connectivity to Microsoft Office is still limited. IBM's Cognos TM1 had more options when connecting with Excel.
