Cyfe Features In Depth

Unified Monitoring

Keeping your finger on the “pulse of the organization” is a time-consuming exercise, particularly if you’re using several different solutions to make sense of the data at your fingertips. Cyfe unifies scattered data from various monitoring applications in one location. This means data from social networks, email marketing software, IT web monitors, keyword ranking solutions, website analytics tools, and online financial systems, among others, is added in one central hub that you can access anytime, anywhere, from any device.

Aside from significantly reducing the time and effort you’ll otherwise spend to check multiple tools, keeping all your monitoring systems in one dashboard allows you to see big-picture scenarios at a glance. For example, alongside a summary of your web traffic stats and keyword ranking, an update on the status of your account payables is visible, so are your Facebook page’s engagement stats, and how many new signups your recent newsletter generated.

Also, Cyfe’s push API, which is a REST API, allows you to push into Cyfe the data from the software solutions you already use, whether homegrown or from outside providers.

Dashboard Sharing

Cyfe dashboards can be shared in three ways: through the users’ Cyfe accounts, public URLs, and scheduled reports. Cyfe Premium allows you to invite an unlimited number of users into the platform. Using their own separate logins, you can grant them admin access or read-only permissions to your various data dashboards. Public URLs, on the other hand, are used to share data with people without Cyfe accounts. Dashboards shared via public URLs are read-only, can be password-protected and embedded into any application.

Using Cyfe’s export dashboard feature, automated emails containing dashboard reports can be sent to specific recipients on an ongoing basis – monthly, weekly, or daily. Individual widgets and entire dashboards can be exported in several formats: CSV, PNG, JPEG, and PDF.

TV Mode

Most data-centric organizations display business data in prominent workplace locations. Aside from everyone sharing in the monitoring of trends and abnormalities, the practice can spark data-driven conversations among colleagues, which can turn into “eureka” moments benefitting the entire organization.

Cyfe’s responsive TV mode functionality works well with any Internet-enabled TV with a built-in browser. It lets users show their dashboards on any monitor, and Cyfe automatically adjusts your screen view to fit the size of your TV. Once set up, log in to Cyfe and enable the TV mode feature. You will then be asked to select which dashboards to show, including their rotation frequency, e.g., every 30 seconds.

Historical Data

For IT teams and network administrators, historical data coupled with real-time data let them establish trends and make accurate forecasts, a feature especially handy when planning for future capacity requirements. SEO professionals and content marketers also value historical data, as this allows them to pinpoint which campaigns work and which don’t, and how best to remedy the latter.

Cyfe archives data that’s beyond 30 days, and using date range selections, historical data can be retrieved on demand.

Customizations

Cyfe lets you customize your dashboards in many ways. From the background color to the values included in your custom widgets, the app provides a range of customization features. Your company’s colors and logo can be used for branding consistency across the platform, and your Cyfe account can be personalized to include your website’s domain name.

For custom visualizations, chart widgets can be configured using the push API. If you choose to offer Cyfe as a white-label addon to your core services, branded reports can be generated for your clients.

Connects with a lot of systems, but reporting is inflexible

Can easily connect to multiple systems such as Xero, Google Analytics and Facebook.

Cons

The standard reporting views and metrics for that data were very limited and added no value beyond what Xero already reports on.

Cons

It's constrained by the limitations of the API... for example, Pinterest analytics are super thorough on the Pinterest plaform, but Cyfe can only pull in basic data.

Pros

Getting started is easy, and I had my first dashboard set up within minutes using the built-in Google Analytics integration.

Cons

Cyfe provides a number of built-in integrations from common data sources, but this list could have been more extensive.

It's time saving and distraction-less in terms of getting to see all of my data visualizations in one place, rather than logging into Google analytics/search console, email, Mailchimp, etc.

Pros

It's very customizable in terms of layout, theme, etc.

Cons

I wish that there was a repository of templates for users to refer to for ideas and inspiration, sort of like what is available in Trello or Airtable, but I realize that some users' private data would need to be restricted somehow, so this could be a reason why that isn't the case currently.

I used free Cyfe for a few years, it's actually don't limit you as a personal dashboard for CEO.

Cons

A Very Easy to Use Dashboard Monitoring Tool

We wanted a dashboard for our different metrics and stumbled upon Cyfe.

Pros

If you work in google sheets, you can import data into Cyfe and if your developers know how to use the PUSH API you can set up customized data. 5.

Cons

The cost is not that bad but for $29/month you can get an additional 2 users if you signed up for Klipfolio, however Cyfe’s defense is that data is in real time where as Klipfolio has a 4 hour delay.

Cyfe is an excellent data management platform that allows us to analyze data from platforms such as Adwords, Amazon, Shopify, Stripe and Zendesk. Its interface is well organized and makes its use extremely simple.

Pros

It also allows to show statistics in real time of each process.

Cons

Cyfe widgets for Twitter and Facebook are very slow, and their integration into CMS platforms such as Wordpress is quite complicated to perform.

It is a great idea, and the customizable dashboard is great but I feel that it could definitely use some improvements.

Pros

We like that you can search by date and metric, and it has been great to see our growth over the past few months!

Cons

The Instagram widget is very glitchy, and every time you reset your password for your Instagram account, the Cyfe data erases and resets (hence why we keep a manual record of everything).

By saving your dashboard items you can generate new reports just by changing the timeframe.

Cons

Pros

Simple to use Many supported social media types SEO and Ranking All in one palce

Cons

Even if it has a lot of features and functions as intended and incorporates all my statistic needs from many sites and social activity i do find the price could be lower to make this the best choice and subscribe instantly, or it should have some more widgets enabled in the free version not just 5 than it would be great.
