This is definitely an important and mandatory software to be used. But, it needs a lot of improvement and with dashboards.
I feel like this is the only application that can track web traffic accurately. This is surely a great addition for marketing folks.
The development of a dashboard for monitoring the KPI is not similar. Instead it has to be integrated with Applications like Power BI or Tableau

Google Analytics is a great way to see our per page analytics on our websites and other platforms and is a necessity.
Google analytics has a great admin dashboard where you can browse through and see your data visualizations with ease. This is the best tool for mobile and web apps. Very simple to setup and requires no additional hardware.
The amount of data sources that Google Analytics offers is not as robust as software like Tableau or Microsoft Power.

Google Analytics is presumably the most unmistakable self-administration business insight (BI) stage available. It's allowed to utilize and profoundly famous with organizations hoping to utilize both BI and information perception highlights. As a matter of fact, it's famous to such an extent that other BI applications, including our Editors' Choice victors Microsoft Power BI and Tableau Desktop, offer...
Intelligent program for website and mobile phone app analytics.
Consumer support is unpleasant. Too many adds or advertising hinders progress of the client. Too much outsourcing of service for professional growth of clients

Great tool how to analyze and joinf financial and marketing data using addition BI software.
The biggest pro in my experience is how well the data is structured and how you can aggregate it using BI tools.
Takes some time to understand how to measure and read the data, other than that not many cons to add.

We use Google Analytics 360 to harvest BI on our customers' web and ecommerce sites.
The nicest thing for Google Analytics is that it's a one-stop-shop that does everything you reasonably need and integrates smoothly with more or less everything.
The two things we like least about Google Analytics 360 are the lack of customizability beyond what's already built in and the time-to-time change of fundamental stuff like the terms of use, api, UI, and so on that force you to adapt again or miss a useful feature.

It's great, most of the services my business provides to customers depends on the data available in this tool, so it helps me a lot.
Every single business should use Google Analytics to understand its customers. The tool provide tracking that allows you to know your customers' behaviours in your website. It's critical to drive growth!
The integration with Google Data Studio is still poor. If it could be more friendly, it will help users/admins to use it instead of another BI tools.

Very easy to use, very simple to use, but not as robust as more complex programs.
The dashboard is very intuitive to use and contains useful information like page hits, unique hits, time of day, location data, hit form (mobile vs pc, etc.).
Did not have the ability to drill down and create deeper reports. Not as robust as a Tableau or BI program, but then again it's not as expensive.

Cheap, looks great on reports, but really needs a power user to see its full potential.
+ Data at your fingertips + Set custom goals for purchases/site visitors + Traffic sources are totally itemized
- Very complex to learn - Doesn't provide much on-its-face value to people who aren't "data people". Not a huge concern but other (probably more expensive) solutions will make the data more friendly.

Good to measure site traffic and see who power users are, but have not explored the full functionality.
My usage of Google Analytics is very basic, and what has been most useful is seeing user engagement, and pages viewed. Not sure if there are other free software options out there that could do this better.
Complicated interface, and lots of information that is not really useful or pertinent to my needs. Also, wish there was more info about where users were coming to the site from and more info on active users.

Overall, the power you gain from understanding the behaviors of your visitors is unmatched by any other service.
One of the strongest draws to Google Analytics is the ability to see data sets such as unique visits, from what demographic, what links they clicked, and the overall habits of users when visiting your domain. This allows you to curate content to better suit the needs of the average visitor, thus optimizing their experience and making it easier for new visitors to find essential information or products.
Google often updates its interface and sometimes it can get confusing when a function you're traditionally using in one way gets re-categorized and moved. This can interrupt workflow briefly, but usually the updates are overall for the betterment of platform.

Once we learned the capabilities of this software, it's power was remarkable and has enhanced our marketing efforts tremendously!
Google Analytics provides everything you could want in site performance measurement. The metrics and different ways to visualize them are truly astounding and actually fun to use! Our site has improved drastically from the insights Google Analytics has provided.
The learning curve is steep, and the online tutorials are helpful but time consuming to go through. The actual settings of the profile are very important and we did not figure out what the proper settings were for our particular business for quite a few months.

The online community of users is definitely a place you will appreciate in the beginning as you get to know the intricacies of the software and its true power. Regardless of the initial hiccups to connect Google Analytics with the software, I definitely appreciated the utilization of visuals to represent data that other words could have been very boring and dull for board members to understand.
Easy to generate user friendly visualizations that would otherwise be a nightmare to describe. Excellent Third Party Linking Great Online Community for finding support and other great ways of using the tool.
Uses connectors that could be hit or miss. In my case took me several times to connect Google Analytics to Power Bi due to connector not working as should.

I've found that Power BI is so important to know, especially if you're providing analytics services for MS-only clients that are concerned with security. It's also fairly fast to start using - again, once your project is created. I wouldn't trade Google Analytics or Data Studio for it, but it's still a powerful tool in its own right.
Power BI's power (to me) is its ability to integrate with other Microsoft 365 products. You can literally create a secure, closed-loop data environment. Plus, creating charts and tables is very straightforward - once you've set up your environment.
The only cons would be the lack of real-time data source refreshes and sometimes the interface isn't very intuitive in terms of defining and setting up new projects.

Overall was good experience with power bi. Its give multiple valuable business insights which cant be seen in raw data. Convenient as compared to other options which are available in market.
Easy and simple to use Cheaper than others Have Microsoft excel integration which makes easier to understand for the people who already had the knowledge of excel. We can use custom Visualizations Provide regular updates by considering the suggestions given by the user community. Easy to understand. Anyone who is having average excel skills can start using power bi.
We can't connect power bi with Google sheets whereas other business analytics tool can. For 3rd party web sources there is lack of data sources. Power bi service layout which Microsoft recently changed

Easy to use business analytics tool.
It's usable and allow the new way of managing data for Bussines decision. The good figure is also the direct connection with different DB's.
The least likable things is so flexible at times it can be hard to narrow down how to show a particular data set. It is not as intuitive as it could be navigated.

The capability to connect with different kind of data sources, different file types supported to import/export and the versatility of the visualization components. Those makes Power BI a complete suite to enhance business through the analytics
