It's very easy to track and monitor websites. And also get important alerts in every aspect and detail of a website in such a delicate and simplistic manner.
The least I like about this software is the lack of dark mode.

was good, a bit complicated, but it is a very helpful tool.
I really like your amount of information and your handling of large amounts of it
its complicated mode of use and how difficult it is to find specific tools.

learning what pages are popular on my web sites, where the traffic comes from and how they move from page to page
predefined reports and graphs. Hierarchical structure of audience, acquisition etc. Ability to select a time period to view data
no 'easy mode' for someone not running a giant commercial site whoc just wants to see how to improve readerip of their blog.

We use Google analytics for our top10 product ranking websites, we can compare clicks and activity for each links we placed in our landing pages.
You can compare all traffic properties and see strenghts and weakness, so you can focus and optimize specific key points to target right visitors and generate conversion. And it is free!
Complicated for entry level users, there could be tutorial, newbie mode. It takes long time to learn the dashboard and start to optimize your data

Overall, integrating Google Analytics was easy and I will continue using it.
Google Analytics makes it really easy to see who is using my software, where the users are from and it helps me inform decisions about what audience to cater for. It provides a number of handy data sources like browser types and screen sizes that help direct my development.
The interface could be tidied up to make it more friendly for beginners, there's a lot there at the moment so maybe a "simple" mode would be a nice addition.

Comprehensive analytics for your website with many different ways to present data in reports, graphcs and lists. Pretty easy to use and install, needs a bit of time to understand the different parts of the statistics.
A bit difficult to get an overview, maybe a "easy" and "advanced" mode could be implemented, easy for fast and at-a-glance view and advanced for more in-depth views.

Google Analytics is so useful that I install it on every website I publish (I'm a web designer). It's useful for clients who just want the basic info on how many people visit their website and for how long, up to clients who need to know which pages are the most popular
The range of data that it collects and allows you to segment and compare, and the fact that it does this for free, is incredible.
It can overwhelm clients when I share access to them, would be good to have a 'Basic' and 'Advanced' mode/view that people can switch between, with 'Basic' being a more streamlined version.

Google Analytics has been extremely useful to understand the in-depth analytics of my websites. It has been very handy to understand the visitors of the website and how they find my websites and what content they like and from where they come.
I’ve been using the software for over 8 years now and it has been improving and more and more features are added frequently. Sometimes it looks very complicated with all the available features and wished if there was a simple mode where only the basic features were available for regular use.

I could not live without it! I am able to tweak my SEO campaigns based on user data and give my clients the best ROI.
I use Google Analytics for monthly reporting, finding insights, trends, and anomalies for my client's web performance. It took me a few months to get used to the interface and learning how to manipulate the data (advanced) to get the information I required, but once I got it, working with Google Analytics became second nature. My favorite features include the lifetime tracking of data (very useful for picking up trends) and I use the comparison mode for a true reflection of performance. Event tracking is also an important feature of GA for our agency.
Using the new G4 Analytics dashboard is more complicated than I hoped. My team consists of junior staff drawing information from GA and they are finding it difficult to get some of the information that is required. We would need a full training session to ensure we use G4 optimally.

Understanding how people reach out websites, landing pages, white papers, sign up page is key to creating a sales and marketing program that will improve over time. Google Anàytics gives you a powerful tool that can be used in simple easy-to-set-up mode or you can go deep and track everything you could imagine. It’s easy to generate reports and share information just as it’s easy to collaborate and have multiple users managing the system at once. It can be a bit intimidating at first but it’s easy enough to learn. Mastering it on the other hand is an art.
For non-tech people it can be a little confusing and overwhelming at first but there are great tutorials and lessons online for you to learn, plus Google has all kinds of courses and certifications to get your skills leveled up.

Overall, it has changed our company. Internally, our teams have data pushed to them daily or weekly. Our end users have significantly more dynamic systems. And overall, our analytics stack has a very predictable cost structure. We love Mode!
We love Mode's ability to push analytics into Slack for internal analytics. We also heavily use Mode's White Label Embed capability into our website. We are able to configure Mode's look and feel to be perfectly on-brand. Mode's analytics plug perfectly into our site.
Mode's Grid and Pivot grids still have a long way to go. We end up plugging DevExtreme into Mode - which accomplishes exactly what we need... but it's a lot of work. It would have been nice to have beautiful pivot grids and data grids out-of-the-box. Mode also needs the ability to have triggers (only send this report if X>Y). Right now, Mode can only send on a schedule... but many of our needs are warning systems (if X<=0 then send an alert to this team).

I'm a big fan of Mode. We use it for all kinds of business analysis and operational improvements. Plus, we use the dashboards to run daily meetings and have daily emails sent out with key metrics. I've found the support to be great and you can tell that they're working hard to make improvements every quarter.
I like the ease of use and the fact that they keep improving the visualizations so it's becoming a one stop shop for analytics.
It's not Mode's fault, but I need to teach so many other people SQL in order to help them out. Otherwise they just re-run the same old reports.

Mode has improved a LOT since we first began using it in the spring of 2019. The notebook interface is much faster and more stable (it could still be snappier and closer to 'native', but it's much much better), and the plotting abilities are much more flexible and nice to look at. Big props to the mode team for integrating so many useful features and improvements!
Mode has made it much faster to write + share small dashboards for internal consumption. My team gets a lot of random last-minute inbound requests for analytics regarding different parts of our research program, and Mode really makes it easy to make that data available and re-generable for the leadership teams who make those requests.
Some analytics, like almost-automatic chart and table generation using SQL queries, are streamlined in a way I find confusing and hard to use. I find that I have to structure my SQL query in such a way that data comes out just right for mode to display/plot the way I want. SQL is designed for database manipulation and is not great for manipulating data. If the purpose of directly plotting SQL results...

Mode platform is a nice tool to process / request Data on a daily basis. It would be a must have for Data scientists / analysts producing analysis / reports for executives / BI teams.
I really liked the way you can write & test your own SQL queries. You can also easily request different Datasets coming from different sources (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hive, Impala, Aurora, Google BigQuery...) via the same SQL queries. Moreover, it's very simple to create charts and diagrams from the data to generate nice presentations / reports. By the way you have a nice integration with Python/R notebooks.
When your are creating / editing reports, you need to have good knowledge of SQL/Data queries. This side of the platform would be reserved to Data scientists / engineers / analysts. But once the reports are created, it's still one of the best tool in the market to communicate / take decisions with executives / managers / BI teams / clients.
