Pros

Love using pools - you will be surprised how good it works if you ask the right question in the right time. Very responsive and professional customer support.
It's a great tool to analyse behavior and understand my users, it's amazing the number of things you can do.
My overall experience has been fantastic. The recordings are top quality and there are plenty of additional features and functions for those who want more.

Pros

Our person there has been extremely responsive, patient and helpful. They've used some of our requests and suggestions in enhancing the platform and we greatly appreciate that.
The API is amazing and very user friendly. I like that you can link all of your accounts to the software and create custom dashboards for all linked accounts.
My overall experience is positive - I feel like I have a good response time from our customer service rep though she does not prioritize my team members in the same way she seems to for me.

Cons

I haven't encountered any major issues or roadblocks that made my experience with Hotjar unpleasant. No distinct cons, as far as our marketing team is concerned.
It's tough to think of a disadvantage to HotJar or a problem I have with the software. It tracks critical data.
Hotjar is getting sometimes bad reputation. If you mention you're using it on your terms and conditions, some visitors can be affraid by being spied.

Cons

Something is always wrong with the API, the custom functions are confusing, the Import Wizard only works some of the time - the set up is confusing.
It's been something we've desperately needed, but with the last 3 months of updates hasn't been addressed.
We don't have anything we really dislike about this software at this time.
