The product allows to complement the functionalities of any system solution, mainly for ERP systems.
The tool allows you to integrate from any data source. Sophisticated look with diagrams, graphs, panels and indicators. Easy development, testing and publication.
Licensing for product use and user management is complicated, causing difficulties in making it available to customers.

I have used it in some of my implementations in MS Dynamics enterprise solutions
It can get integrated with ERP software , provide visualization of data , also results can further be used in excel .
It needs time to master the BI , comes with experience . In case data set is large , free version provided is not useful .

Real-time data on our business metrics. True analysis and reporting of the most important drivers to our success, available at any time.
UI is excellent, so many features and functionality. Gives us true insight to our businesses performance.
Getting it fully set-up and integrated with our ERP system took a bit of time, and we dedicated a software engineer to lead with implementation, but it's been worth it.

By using DAX in Power BI, ERP/database connections, implemenation of the latest algorithms for managing bottlenecks , Buffers, and the DDMRP principles, we are developing a robust platform for different users for managing the order flow in organizations
It enables the use of BI, the connection of various databases, calculations that are difficult to make in the classic ERP / MRP, especially for the field of planning and monitoring the execution of orders in production.
Refreshing data in PBI Pro is limited to 8x per day, which is insufficient.

Power Bi is the most complete tool for business intelligence, when you connect to your company's ERP you forget about Excel and power point for statistics and presentations, you update it in real time so you can make decisions in a timely manner.
Excellent application It costs initially to understand the language, but once the logic is clear, reports can be assembled in seconds.

Really please with it, it really improves the company and allows to get all the value that the data has.
The high possibilities that it offers. Obviously, you can integrate it with a lot of tools from Microsoft, such as the CRM and ERP. If you do so, you can manage the data that you have in both platforms, do analysis, reports and create dashboards for better visualization.
I think that the dashboard visualization could be a bit better. Also preparing the dataset can be a difficult task, so you will need experts to manage this tool.

I've been working with Power BI for only a few weeks, but have found it very handy for XML cloud downloads (our BOMs that are in three separate tables from the host), much of our standard reporting (replacing large and clunky VBA scripted workbooks), and super fast and intuitive charts from our iSeries ERP and Oracle shipping databases. So much connectivity to just about anything one could need or imagine when constructing a beautiful dashboard! It's been fun playing around with the different charts and assemblies and trying to guess how my customers will utilize the data. I am sure interest from the users will increase immensely over the next several months, once they see how other departments are using their new dashboards.
Power BI is fairly easy to configure and with built-in data source connectivity, allows us to analyze just about any data from any source. Limitless possibilities for presenting data in an easy to analyze format.
Two separate versions are required for full featured functionality - desktop and webservice. This makes it tough to remember which one is needed for different extracts and functions. Could make them more similar. Need to break myself from wanting to set up everything like a pivot table! So many features forces a larger than normal learning curve to fully get to know all options. Would be nice to have a customize feature that loads or displays only the functions and charts we are likely to use.
