Pros

The Retrieve & Relate platform developed by Biostrand is well-thought and remarkably intuitive to use. It works as a search engine which doesn't bother you with complicated filters and options. When entering the biological sequence of interest, it only takes a few seconds to propose a large quantity of results from multiple databases. Cons

There are a couple of minor features which could be improved. The "select file" tab in the search engine did not accept some Genbank files for an unknown reason (maybe because it was a large file with multiple genes), but entering genetic sequences individually solved the problem. Also, the alignment tab doesn't include internal gaps which sometimes results in obvious offsets between two sequences which would normally align perfectly. However, I guess that implementing this feature would significantly slow down this process.
