Pros

There are two things about Tableau that make it outstanding- first- the ease of use in creating visualizations from your data and second, the simplicity in learning how to use it.
Helps me with great insights on my user base and other helpful items, but I know I'm not reaching my potential in it. Maybe a Tableau training could help it feel more valuable to me.
Great product, you can be as creative as you want and the possibilities are endless. You can make your graph more detailed than what you could do in Excel.

Pros

The ease of use makes it learning and fun experience and also making it easy and reliable for people to use.
The customer service is a great team which are willing and helpful to make your business grow and succeed.
Has made reporting side of my job super easy; you can track/chart whatever data you please; can send automated reports; great timesaver.

Cons

Large files takes a while to load and sometimes it will crash which is inconvenient. Since there is no auto-save function, you can lose your work if it crashes.
Due to my lack of familiarity in how to code, I was uncomfortable at first and found it difficult to learn.
M more a consumer of the analysis than a creator but we have been caught out when our data scientists accidentally did the wrong thing, and analysis showed something totally different to reality.

Cons

When queries are unsuccessful, the error messages aren't always easy to understand.
Quite a few of my queries are unsuccessful and the error messages aren't very helpful explaining why.
Inability to group like-items together -- this might be possible, and I just haven't discovered it yet.
