Easy to use. We are a small road contractor. Many government bids have list of locations and streets within the bid documents which we want to enter into our bidding software. I will typically convert to word or excel for our further use - works great!!!

Ability to classify table headers. Sometimes does not achieve full separation of data resulting in need to adjust formatting to fully split data

The ability to extract data from PDFs, into readily useable spreadsheets or Word documents - an enormous benefit.

Nothing comes to mind - occasionally tables with more complex formatting do not get extracted exactly, but it is usually easy to fix the problem.

The only feature I have used so far is turning a PDF into an excel file. I use it weekly and it saves so much time in my day to day operation.

I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet but give me another 6-months and I may have more input.

This is easy to install, use, and it gets the job done. We use it to convert PDFs to useable word and excel documents we receive from clients.

The formatting can be wonky after the conversion is done, and it takes some fiddling with the settings to get it right.

It's easy to use and delivers excellent results

Best conversion quality from PDF to Excel. Always get the tables and formats right.

Large PDFs are slow to load and change between pages.

Given a good PDF, the ability to be consistent about how it is treated rather than picking up minor inconsistencies

Inability to be trained or learn. I would like to see more intelligent interactive pre-OCR which allows you to select the elements you want

Convesrion is excellent from various types of documents

It seemed to have disappeared when I did a system check

I use the convert from pdf to excel the most. This newest version works extremely well. the software launches easily

Sometimes i have to adjust the vertical lines that separate the pdf into columns but its very good after that

In mi opinion this is an essential tool to work with pdfs. You can do a lot of things that will make your life a lot easier. Covert to pdf, change the text on it, search...

Have to think about it, but there are no bugs, and the use is simple, there are no cons for me.

The program just keeps getting better with each new release.

Cad conversions do not always come out nice

Able2Extract is the best application in converting your pdf files into other type of documents. You can easily access it and the interface is just so easy to understand.

None so far noted. The application is so easy to understand making it a user friendly application. One of the best.

I can change PDF to Excel and then run it in a program

nothing. I do not have anything that I can think of.

I use it to convert pdf to Excel. It does a nice job converting reports to columnar form in Excel that allows for versatile sorting, subtotaling, etc. Data is an accurate reproduction.

There were some complex reports with random data locations (non-columnar) that did not convert well.

I really like the ability to convert rom a pdf into Excel and keep nearly all the formatting of the original. There are only a very small number of pccasions when the conversion is less than 100% perfect. It is so much more effective than other conversion software I have used.

Software is great.Procing is a bit misleading in theat it is $X "for life"...this is product life of 2-3 years, not my life!

The ability to pull text from columned documents, where other software has failed, sold me. This is an excellent program.

The main screen has a lot going on and took me a bit to get used to. Other than that, I have no complaints.
