By far, this is the easiest way to extract text and images from a PDF or image. It's fast and accurate.

Version 17 does not work on my Ubuntu computer, however version 16 is more than adequate.

What i like the most about Able2Extract is the ability to manually edit rows and columns in a data table. This makes our pdf to excel conversions much easier.

The only suggestion that I would have at this time is to allow for multiple deletions of either text or rows without having to hit the "delete" button every time. This would make cleaning up the pdf prior to conversion much easier and faster.

Hi Donald, thank you for the review and great feedback! Regarding your suggestion, try double-clicking any button in the toolbar to make it selected until you click it again to deselect ("sticky button" feature). It will speed up your workflow on Custom Excel. Hope this helps!

I used it for PDF to Excel Converter. It is better than free online ones.

Have to move mouse back and forth between the add/remove column button and the lines. Unlike old version where I can just right click/double right click.

Conversion of pdf to Word is excellent with fairly accurate character recognition

Dislike the numbering approach in arranging the pages

Hi Paul - We totally understand that pricing is important. Good news is that if you'd like to purchase the next or future versions, you won't have to pay full price ever again. You can just go for the single upgrade each year, which is significantly cheaper and still sets you up with everything the newest release version has to offer. Hope that info helps! Ease of setup and the learning curve was short.

It would be beneficial to see the name of the new saved file on the main screen while conversion is being done when processing multiple files consecutively.

Helps save time vs. raw data entry or having another member of the team enter it

Accuracy could be improved as often it takes substantial time to clean up the data
