Pros

Flexible, intuitive, simplistic, encompassing, always refining and redefining and listening to the user and the client to ensure the best program for the best outcome.
It is a great way to track correspondence and documents. Mostly it is a good user interface with straight forward logical steps.
Best for traceability and sharing of large files. Very good customer support and works well with Aconex Field.

Pros

It's been great having so many templates to choose from and customize. Awesome that it can be integrated with MS Teams.
I love the ease to customize your sheet for whatever you need and however you like it. Love being able to switch around columns and sort rows so quickly too.
The project being web-based helps to share information with other members of the team. The ability to export to various formats, as well as get team updates is a huge benefit.

Cons

The one problem that is irritating is to log on every time one has to read any mail. To search for the e mail ID's of persons in the loop also takes a lot of time.
Terrible performance - seriously hinders productivity during the day. Uploading files, loading correspondences and workflows load at snails pace and always unpredictable.
Since there are thousands of documents and emails, it is difficult for me to memorize everything.

Cons

I then took the Smartsheet training to be certified and that opened my eyes to the power of the tool (and also to the fact that the sheets I hated were users in our company using it very, very WRONG).
The only complaint that I have is that if the spreadsheet is very large, the page can be slightly laggy.

Pros

Ease of use for end users. Excel-like interface is easy to learn.

Cons

Does not integrate to other systems. No way to load data from SAP or Oracle.

Pros

Very simple to use, cloud-native interface. Works seamlessly with Google workspace and online collaboration tools for Google workspace enterprise companies. Smartsheet has added a lot of new features (e.g., Kanban) beyond Scheduling that are valuable for overall productivity and project/resource planning.

Cons

Primary use of the application is for Scheduling and there are still too many feature limitations for that purpose to replace the traditional Scheduling applications Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera

Extremely useful for all, but especially those who don't master Excel

We're able to keep track of our total trainee attendees, tests taken, etc with Smartsheet and it is very helpful, especially as we transition to a whole new system. Thus far, every time I use it, I've learned something new and it's just routine now. I'm considering using it for my personal business needs as well.

Pros

I love that we can compile all of our entries from Smartsheet to gather statistics, trends and other data in order to see totals, trends, etc. We had to change to Smartsheet as we went from Oracle to Workday and it has been very helpful to get a bigger picture and not having to try to keep all the info in personal excel files and find the right equations for such. I love its versatility.

Cons

There is a learning curve. It's not near as big as trying to master Excel, but you will make some errors to figure out how to get what you want. They provide videos and some of the more experienced users provided training, but it still took a moment to fully understand how some features worked.
