PDF viewer that is the standard

Reviewed 6 years ago

The standard to have in any office for viewing , editing and creating PDF's.

Pros

Best PDF viewer available and other software products that are similar do not provide the same consistency and quality. Able to edit PDF's, open DWG's and convert to other formats which has saved time and effort.

Cons

Not much to not like other than the occasional parameter errors and not reducing the file size effectively.

Acrobat Reader Good for Forms Only!

Reviewed 6 years ago

I use Acrobat Reader DC for convert PDF to Word. I get list from other companies and agencies and need to to convert their PDF in to a workable document that can be setup and resent out.

Pros

Converting a PDF to other file types like work and Powerpoint.

Cons

Not easy to use, only converts forms for editing but it is hard to set up. Also, the PDF conversion is weak and does not carry over all the information or the style of the document.

Why Adobe Started to suck

Reviewed 4 years ago

it stresses me out and is cumbersome to use go back to the old version. i tried the trial version and waited a long time before i had to upgrade and that was mainly because windows kept on changing and updating its software and making the older version obsolete and slowed it down and at some point would not open

Pros

it is the only software out there because they created a standard and in the beginning it was great and worked well and was easy to use.. new version not so much it is annoying and takes longer to do tasks that were a breeze previously

Cons

Everything why does it need to be cloud based, If i want t adjust and change a form then why not stick to letting it do the task on the computer separate from the cloud they do not understand some one does not always have internet access and can actually do the work with out the internet. It is ridiculous that one cant use software with out the cloud and make adjustments to forms or save in a different file type. Issue with software and UX designers they sometimes they stick at there jobs

This is a Good Budget Option

Reviewed 4 years ago

I have had an okay experience with this software. It has been around for a long time and its a very good budget option for people who just need a way to view PDF's. I would recommend it for people on a budget it just doesn't have all the thrills of some of the other PDF software I have seen.

Pros

This is a really great option for people on a budget because the price is under $2. It is really basic and will allow you to read PDFs and Sign them as well. They just updated some of the features and I know that now you can actually redact information from documents that contain sensitive information. It also allows you to invite other people to sign a document.

Cons

The con is that its a really basic version of some of the other PDF software that they have available now. It doesn't offer a lot of different features but it will get the job done. If all your doing is reading PDFs, signing them, or getting others to sign, than it is a really good software to start with.

My Document Sealer

Reviewed 7 months ago

My experience some of the government forms is not allowing fully integration features because of signature required documents. It is a hassle sometimes I have to write manually.

Pros

I love the conversion and easy deployment and features.

Cons

I don't like the edit features asking for premium. Yet screenshot is accessible for everyone.

Indispensável para trabalhos pesados

Reviewed 2 years ago

It's free--and oftentimes PDFs don't look right in / print correctly from anything else

Reviewed 7 years ago
Pros

It will correctly render large and complex PDF files that other PDF readers like Preview on the Mac will fail to display as intended, and will print PDFs correctly that other programs struggle with.

Cons

It really does nothing but view PDF files... it would be nice if Adobe migrated some of the basic Acrobat Pro features over to Reader--but I understand why they don't from a profit standpoint.

Adobe

We had great experiences with this product. It's great because it didn't cost any money.

Pros

I love that I can open documents fast without any problems. When someone sends me paperwork that needs to be filled out I don't have a problem with Reader DC.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a while to figure out how you can fill out the paperwork. I usually figure it out within a couple of minutes.

So easy to use

Reviewed 7 years ago
Pros

My favorite feature of this program is the ability to send documents out for electronic signature. I had looked into purchasing a program that would allow me to do this and I came to find out I already had what I needed. Adobe makes it very easy for both parties to complete signatures. I highly recommend this product if you need a viewer as well as electronic signatures.

Cons

My least favorite part is the software offers many options for additional feature that are not available without an additional purchase. I can see both sides of this issue. I feel like if there is an option to choose, it should be available. But if the options was not there, I might not know that Adobe offers the features.

Worth the extra expense

Reviewed 6 years ago

Overall, as a business we are very happy with how the program performs. As a print shop its a must for us and there is not really anything on the market that does as good a job.

Pros

Acrobat allows full compatibility with PDFs created in other programs and allows great signature and comment features. It is an industry standard and it shows with its functionality.

Cons

It is a fairly heavy program and a RAM hog.

Necessity for Viewing Documents

Reviewed 6 years ago

My overall experience with Acrobat Reader DC is just fine. There are no cons to using this software. It is easy to navigate and and very intuitive.

Pros

I only use the software for one purpose, viewing and printing PDF files and documents, so that is the one thing that I like about it.

Cons

There's nothing that I really dislike about this software. It is a reader and that is the main purpose and exactly what I use it for.

Perfecf for any company

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall, I am a huge fan. I would recommend it to anyone with a business. I am able to reorganize instead of starting from scratch.

Pros

I love that I am able to edit invoices and other documents. I am able to move around different parts of the document so it looks more professional.

Cons

Sometimes the fonts are locked so I am not able to edit it. I also feel like I have had to re up my subscription too often.

Adobe Reader DC as a best choice for the PDF Management

Reviewed 6 years ago

A good choice for the edition, maintenance and view of PDF information files

Pros

I loved the way in that you can manage, interact and share information via PDF. The versatility to edit them with the payed version, is one of the best tools for the signed documents and last moment editions of documents.

Cons

Something that you have to consider is if the Operative System supports all the requirements for it

More than just a great reader for digital docs

Reviewed 7 years ago
Pros

Acrobat reader is more than just a great reader for digital docs. With it you can sign and encrypt your documents, share them with others, compile several PDF docs into a single one, and much more. Incredibly useful software!

Cons

Acrobat is a part of Adobe CC family. So to use this tool you need to have a subscription for Adobe products which could be looking pricey for individuals and small companies.

Pros

PDF documents always displays perfectly with the Acrobat Reader. Functions like searching and printing works smoothly without hiccups.

Cons

The application hasn't changed too much over the years. It would be nice if some editing features were made available.
