Adobe Acrobat reader is the best

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall adobe Acrobat reader is the best in the market. People rarely know any other competitive product in the market.

Pros

It is the most widely used pdf files reader. Has enhanced security measure while creating pdf files. Can be used to create password protected files.

Cons

There is a paid version available to access some of its features. New versions are mostly same. So no new enhancements available.

Adobe acrobat reader review

Reviewed 4 years ago

My experience is very positive, I think it is much simpler to use this software than Microsoft PowerPoint for example.

Pros

The ease of use and intuitive design and function. Features and functions are all very easy to use and locate.

Cons

Locking of documents is difficult to detect when it is used, other than the documents not being available for printing or saving, and signatures disappear with printing.

Excellent PDF file viewer

Reviewed 6 years ago

I've had a good experience with Reader, it's the best PDF file viewer I've used.

Pros

I like the comment functions and the ability to attach any supporting documentation. Adobe Reader is a relatively simple program but an absolute go-to for PDFs.

Cons

Very limited editing capabilities. Reader doesn't come with any useful editing functions, so I use the paid Acrobat program when editing is needed instead.

the application is excellent very easy to handle and by paying the license many more actions are act

Reviewed 6 years ago

I help my company handle all the security in the documentation that it shares with other organizations

Pros

what I like most about this application is that it is very intuitive and light for the computer, it helps the user to manage and guide him on his journey

Cons

the bad thing about the application is the cost of the license since there are many necessary functions that could be free and thus would have more users

I am able to use basic functions easily, such as amending documents, signing and emailing documents.

Reviewed 7 years ago

Able to customize .pdf's easily.

Pros

The ability to fill and sign .pdf documents. The highlighting feature is great too. You can upgrade to the Acrobat Pro DC for more options.

Cons

Sometimes the .pdf's only allow you to highlight and will not enable the "fill & sign". I have to highlight, save the document and then proceed with "fill & sign". It doesn't always happen and I can't determine why and how to fix it.

It is free and the best!

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

It is easy to use, is free, and is the reader software of the provider of the company who create the PDF type - so they are the best for it. You will always open the PDF with the right format. With other softwares may you will get some troubles (in minor cases).

Cons

Sometimes leave a program running when windows starts in order to open more quickly, so it will consume a little bit of memory and CPU.

Easy to Use PDF Reader

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

Adobe Acrobat has a number of different tools that you can use for PDFs. You're able to comment, sign, fill them out, edit, export, and more. I used to print everything out but sometimes it is hard to read. Being able to use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has helped make sure everything is legible.

Cons

I do not have any cons for the product at this time.

Acrobat Reader for PDF files

Reviewed 5 years ago

The overall experience has been excellent so far having offered the best of secutiry

Pros

It has revolutionized the way we prepare and share documents in the modern era. PDF files are the most widely used file extension and this software helps to manage them at ease

Cons

Only cons I see is once you prepare the PDF files it is very difficult to edit them again. At times the rework makes life difficult

Adobe Acrobat Reader Review

Reviewed 5 years ago

Over-all, I would say that it's a good product. I will say however, it's not my preferred software to use for what I need with my documents. It's pricing structure is too expensive for me for how infrequently I use it.

Pros

I like the way that you can transfer documents into different formats so easily

Cons

I don't like all the steps you have to take to actually get into where you need to be to actually use it, and execute the task you want to get done. It could be more user friendly.

Must have software

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

It's probably the most popular app to open PDF files so it's stable and functional. It supports many formats, also interactive files and have good performance when opening large files

Cons

Application user interface is intended to be nice and functional but in my opinion they made it too complex - for reading files many features might be hidden (e.g. under menu) which would make it cleaner and nicer

Very good tool for working with pdfs

Reviewed 4 years ago

I have being able to use this tool to successfully work on various pdf documents

Pros

I enjoy using this to create and read pdfs and i regularly use it for that. It also allows you highlight and also leave comments on pdf documents which allows you to easily review White papers and documentation. It also has a redact document feature which comes in handy when you are working on sensitive documents

Cons

The pricing seems a little on the high side for the premium version of the software tool although its totally worth your money

Adobe Done

Reviewed 4 years ago

Does what it needs to, cannot complain. Pretty clear how to use it with plenty of useful tips available on the help platforms

Pros

Easy to use and find what you need if you are using the paid version. Has many features that you will not know about if you use the free versions.

Cons

Sometimes unable to undo edits and you are not able to go back and fix mistakes unless you are on the full paid version

Best Pdf reader available

Reviewed 5 years ago

It's great, I have always used it, and it's the best software around to read pdfs.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use, and how it never fails to open a pdf document. You can read, highlight, and make comments to pdf very easily.

Cons

It would be great to be able to edit some of the content. I know that comes with the editor version, but some functionality in the reader would be appreciated.

Fashionable!

Reviewed 4 years ago

It's perfect!

Pros

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has a clean, clear, objective and modern appearance. The software is totally intuitive, requiring no further computer knowledge to use it. One of the points that deserves to be highlighted is the integration in the cloud, is pure modernity and a must today!

Cons

There are no negative points in this 'software'.

perfect pdf reading

Reviewed 4 years ago

I can always open my PDFs completely. I can easily view pdf documents from my personal computer, work computer and phone.

Pros

Since we are constantly dealing with mail and pdf texts, I tried many applications. Acrobat reader dc met all our needs.

Cons

the price is a bit expensive in my opinion. Of course there is a free version, but if you want to use all its features, you have to buy the paid version.

Read and print PDF files

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

It has high level of security and efficient encryption system. It comes with enough tools for editing, reading in full screen and is much more stable than previous editions.

Cons

There is not much difference between previous versions. Sometimes it tends to be confusing with the number of options we end up using it just to read the PDF documents. Moderately consumes resources in the pc.

ACrobat

Reviewed 4 years ago

I need to merge multiple files, and occasionally reduce file size. I can do both.

Pros

It's easy to use, and is necessary to compile reports for clients. This is essential office software for anyone who writes reports.

Cons

I wish I could get discounts for bundles of multiple Adobe products. I would like to have Lightroom, but cannot justify the expense for the amount I'd use it.

Scan & Sign

Reviewed 6 years ago

This has simplified getting signatures of important documents. It's quick, easy and is secure not to mention e-signatures are widely accepted as long as they're from acrobat! Love it!

Pros

I love that I can scan a document and submit for a signature to be signed. I get an email that says it's been sent for signature and then I get an email when it's been signed. It doesn't get any easier than this. This is GOLD!

Cons

I have had issues with my acrobat reader dc forcing a close, it doesn't happen too often but when it does a quick power off and power back on of my scanner always fixes it.

The Quintessential PDF viewing software

Reviewed 6 years ago

I have nothing but positive things to say about Adobe Reader. They are kings of PDFs and needed every day.

Pros

easy to use, universal, the gold standard in PDF readers. No one does it better

Cons

Can often mess with/change default settings that conflict with the use of Adobe Acrobat. It isn't a big deal, but new users of Acrobat can become confused when they open a document looking for Acrobat but getting Reader.
