I use acrobat since I had my first computer.

Reviewed 7 years ago
Pros

In this version, I like the integration between mobile devices and desktop computers, for example, I can scan documents with the mobile phone and then edit them in the PC version.

Cons

The most common problem with PDF files, I think, and it has happened to me is when I try to print or try to edit or copy their content, and I can not because the user who created the file has set restrictions.

Using Acrobat

Reviewed 6 years ago

Overall this is a product that anyone in an office workplace should be using and utilizing on a daily basis to complete tasks and sign digital agreements.

Pros

I love being able to look at PDF documents quick and easy and be able to edit them or export them to a word document.

Cons

The cost for being able to do all of the features needed in every day work is a bit high but it is almost required in any workplace setting.

The Real MVP

Reviewed 4 years ago

I enjoy Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and will continue to use it daily due to is user friendly interface and easy to use. I also enjoy using it on my iPad to read my book!

Pros

The main feature I enjoy about Reader DC is being about to sign documents and convert documents to Microsoft formats for editing.

Cons

The software is very easy to use and has improved overtime. I do not have any cons to report at this time.

The best free reader out there

Reviewed 5 years ago

I'm a writer. I receive many documents in pdfs. If I could pay for just the feature of converting to a Word Doc, this would be my chosen software.

Pros

It's easy and intuitive and works across devices - phones, laptops, tablets.

Cons

It isn't easy to edit - and once you've used it for a few years, you become slightly frustrated at the mismatch between the high pricing (for a layman) and the features locked behind pricing.

Wonderful Product

Reviewed 5 years ago

It’s been a great experience. You can do a lot of things with this product. You can highlight and type into it. It makes working with documents so easy.

Pros

I use this software everyday for work for my pdf files. It helps me view my documents and then I have option to save them on my computer afterwards.

Cons

Sometimes it closes out on its own and that bothers me. I’ve tried to report the crash but it happens frequently.

So Easy

Reviewed 4 years ago

My overall experience with all of the Adobe products is so easy. Reader is just another offer from Adobe that makes it seamless.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC works seamlessly and allows me to read my important documents without having to search for a reader program each time.

Cons

I have had to install and uninstall a few times. It seemed like a glitch or maybe a problem with the document I was sent.

Overall experience is absolutely positive - no glitches or issues with this program ever.

Pros

As a purchasing agent, I deal with sales offers, bills, and invoices from vendors on an everyday basis. This program is the best way to work with the pdf document - fast, easy and efficient.

Cons

I didn't notice any negative features, no irritating notifications, no glitches. Therefore my feedback is positive.

User Friendly

Reviewed 6 years ago

This program would be my go-to platform to share documents with co-workers and stakeholders. It is professional and I have encountered few user issues.

Pros

There are varying degrees for this software, it has been a helpful resource for quick simple tasks, as well as complex confidential uses. It all cases that I have used this platform I have been happy with the outcome.

Cons

Using the program for editable fields has its issues. Although the program can scan and create text boxes automatically, if the items are not caught on the scan it is very tasking to add them in yourself.

Highly effective document software

Reviewed 4 years ago

Overall very positive.

Pros

I use this product everyday. It's invaluable for editing documents to families, financial institutions and government offices I interact with daily. Especially with the ability to merge documents and reorganize pages. Couldn't do my job nearly as effectively.

Cons

The only con I could say is the pop ups for additional products is a bit annoying.

Use Acrobat Reader to read PDF articles

Reviewed 5 years ago

I use the program in my company very much for the reading and inspection of architectural projects and for Architecture concepts.

Pros

Its easy to carry out readings of files in PDF model, thus being able to be used both in computer and in cellular. In addition, there is the safety of work information as there is no possibility of product change.

Cons

The program is for reading only, with no possibility of change.

Everyone's default reader

Reviewed 4 years ago

It opens fast, it's stable, and eventually it's a very basic tool. I think it would be nice if Windows had a stock pdf viewer like Preview in OSX

Pros

Very fast, pleasant looking and easy to use. It's the default pdf reader in most PC computers, and it looks great.

Cons

Some features, like annotations, are only available in the paid version, whereas in other readers, such as Foxit it's available for free

Golden standard in PDF readers if it was affordable enough

Reviewed 5 years ago

A very reliable PDF reader that costs too much through the subscription models.

Pros

Acrobat Reader DC offers all the best features you would need in PDF reader. Features such as OCR are reliable and very useful.

Cons

It's expensive! Adobe is particularly shady around the subscription models it currently offers. Sometimes, Adobe intentionally makes difficult for you to get out of a subscription.

Acrobat Reader DC

Reviewed 6 years ago

We used Acrobat Reader DC for years for reading PDF files and it was more than enough for this purpose. Recently a need for editing PDF files has emerged so we switched to its paid brother, Adobe Acrobat DC, and we are still Adobe's satisfied customers.

Pros

It is free, and it does the job for which is intended, and that is reading PDF files.

Cons

If you need more than just to read or print a PDF file, such as editing it, then you need to purchase Adobe Acrobat DC.

Acrobat Reader

Reviewed 4 years ago

Always a great experience. Makes my job easier. Makes sending documents through email simple and attaching documents to Applied Epic even simpler.

Pros

I use it daily, so it's important that it is very easy to use. Also, documents I scan into the system come out very clear in Adobe.

Cons

I don't believe I have anything I like least. Everything works well as far as I've used it. No complaints here.

Cons

Adobe true review

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall I have had a very solid experience with Acrobat. I have used it consistently for the last 10 years and it has become a valuable and necessary tool to complete weekly activities.

Pros

Well, this software has helped me in numerous positions over the years. I mainly used it for reviewing contracts, and combining pdf files into the same file. Its been quite helpful throughout the years and even helped me do non-job related activities. My friend had some posters made and i combined them into one file for him so he could have them printed.

Cons

Some of the better features are not available until you pay for the higher up versions. Such as converting to text to edit, while this may not be a major issue it can come up when you want to redact certain information.

Perfect for simple everyday functions

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I love Reader because it is simple, and quick - and pretty much flawless when it comes to opening up PDF files. Throughout the years more features and functions have been added which makes the program a steal when you use it as a free user!

Cons

This is not as robust as the full Acrobat program, but it gets the job done when opening up email attachments and viewing pdf files for every day use.

Good, Adobe knows how to build easy to use software. If just they didn't maximize it so much...

Pros

This is the beginning stone for pdf in internet. Most used and most recognized soft . Masic functions are enough to use files

Cons

Big and heavy for your computer. Adobe few years back strted to build gigantic software that does exactly the same as small, fast and easy to use programs from previous editions.

Getting Outpaced

Reviewed 5 years ago

Acrobat reader is the standard program and the one everyone uses everyday. It is very useful even with the limited functionality.

Pros

Adobe is the company that created the standard. PDF format makes business run incredibly more efficient and Acrobat Reader is used every day.

Cons

The reader has limited functionality for markups and comments. Compared to other programs, such as Bluebeam, Acrobat Reader is lacking.

Acrobat Reader. A useful tool to read and storage PDF files

Reviewed 6 years ago

My overall experience of Acrobat Reader is really positive. I have been able to send several signed documents or scanned information to coworkers and clients, save and send by email big size power point presentations and also digitally storage scanned books than before I just have it in hard copy .

Pros

What I like most about Acrobat Reader is the ability to convert most type of documents such as world,, excel, powerpoint in a .pdf file, making those documents more presentable and not editable. Also and perhaps the most useful feature, is the ability to convert an scanned or signed document in a pdf file, make it easier to be storage or send it by email.

Cons

What I like least about acrobat reader is that to edit, extract or modify information from a pdf file, is required another versions of acrobat.

Magnificent Reader

Reviewed 6 years ago

Acrobat has given us the opportunity to convert, with ease, our excel spreadsheets into pdf files so that our customers can read our quotes without the tedious scrolling an excel file presents.

Pros

Acrobat Reader is easy to use, easy to navigate, and allows a jpg to appear so much more clear than a regular "photo" viewer.

Cons

Reader does not have the editing features of pro to allow editing on a document or photo.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

It is the visualizer and editor of PDF files par excellence, it's full-featured and provide to the user all the tools available by the user, the program is constantly adding new functionality.

Cons

It can be difficult use it, the complexity of the processes increases with each new version, once you use it continuously the difficulty is imperceptible but the first use usually causes an impact on the new user

Great Software

Reviewed 6 years ago

overall, I'm very satisfied with the product and don'ts see myself or my company switching away from it.

Pros

This is a great software that is essential for any company. It's very easy to install and use, exchange documents within the company, and even use with different languages within international companies.

Cons

The fact that you have to pay for "signing" plugin which is essential for big companies.
