Acrobat Reader applicability

Reviewed 5 years ago

My overall experience with this application is in being able to simply and quickly read PDFs received via email for any operational purpose.

Pros

What I like most about this software is how easy it is to open and read any associated PDF files. It's easy and simple to use.

Cons

While I know other Adobe products offer field editing ability for data entry, I know that this application may not, and it has made me wonder, why have this application? Why not only put out Adobe Acrobat Pro, which can both read and allow editing. It's like saying, should we keep pennies or get rid of them? They may be applicable in sales and marketing strategies, like $4.99 or $1.99, but when we have larger coins and dollars that can accomplish something similar, then why have pennies at all?

Adobe Reader DC Review

Reviewed 5 years ago

My overall opinion and view of using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is satisfactory and recommended to others.

Pros

It's ease of navigation between functions and features. In addition, the ease of sharing between platforms.

Cons

One particular annoyance is the consistence in product updates which appear to have reduced functionality in being able to limit this. This is key when delivering the product on mass to the business.

Must have for doing business

Reviewed 4 years ago

My overall experience was very good. I continue to be very satisfied.

Pros

Adobe Acobat Reader is a must have for doing business. It enables individuals to view documents with the ability to edit and they don’t have to have a different software.

Cons

The reader is great the pro is way better. Some features that are in pro should be included in the reader. For example editing.

Acrobat reader is most reliable tool of handling pdfs.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Key feature of acrobat reader is that it can edit any pdf. It also allows image scanning and editing. It also provides feature to highlight any specific important portion in the document. User can also combine more than 1 pdf files.

Cons

I have not find any of the disadvantages of the product if I had to tell one I will say it would be better if we get some relaxation in the price.

Great products

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

It just works... I am frustrated when certain companies do not work with Adobe because there is nothing like them for reading, editing and sending pdf documents.

Cons

I really have no issues with them other than not being available in all areas. I use Google for lots of things and it sometimes does not work depending on the app and they try to make you use another product which usually doesn't work.

Indispensable PC tool

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Acrobat Reader is so convenient to use and indispensable tool for any PC user. Final format of any type of documentation is always in PDF form so I use this software multiple time daily. I especially like edit, comment, and highlight function of this software which makes communication at work easier.

Cons

I wish there was 'merge' function. Right now I have to PDF merge function online.

Love it

Reviewed 6 years ago

I love the Dc pro pension and exporting!

Pros

I love the reader but I chose to buy the export to word feature. I can not imagine work without using this. I do not have to retype documents that I need to change. I upload to word make and track changes and send back to my clients.

Cons

I have no cons on the reader but I would like to see the export feature include edit pdf instead of having it separated.

Handles pdfs nicely

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

Good for documents and also for reading books. Also supports leaving notes on documents and e-signatures . There is a free version you can download from Adobe's site .

Cons

Is expensive and I would recommend sticking to the free version ( unless your work relies on you doing edits ) .I also dislike that saving files takes a lot more clicks than it could .

Easy to use

Reviewed 4 years ago

It is a bit expensive to buy the program to enable passwords on documents. Other than that, it does everything I need it to do.

Pros

I enjoy the versatility of this software. I recommend this to many patients to use since moving to remote office protocol.

Cons

Features may be overwhelming to the non-tech savvy. I wish the price wasn't too expensive for premium options such as password enabling.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC review

Reviewed 4 years ago

One of the best pdf readers in the market. Have been using it for 10+ years now and feel that adobe has done a great job.

Pros

Easy to use and implement. Great features and functionality. Good for editing and converting pdf. Great tool for office goers and students.

Cons

Price could be lower. It would be great if they increase the duration of the free trail. Could have a few more features.

Acrobat Reader is easy to us

Reviewed 5 years ago

My overall experience with Acrobat Reader is that it's easy to use and I can edit and organize my documents without any problems.

Pros

I can edit my document easily without any problems and I can covert my word documents without issues.

Cons

What I don't like about this is when I try and convert a pdf into a word document it will change the format and the words as well. It doesn't copy the exact document.

Acrobat Reader Stands Out From Others For PDF File Reading

Reviewed 6 years ago

My experience with Acrobat Reader DC has been positive and I have been using it for years to send signed PDF's back to senders. It is used very often by me for business purposes and the need to send back to sender specific work orders and purchase orders.

Pros

Acrobat Reader DC is a very popular PDF file reader that most people use. It is very easy to use. I use it frequently for signing documents as it has a feature for doing that. The signatures can be your own which you create using your mouse. Then I just save the file and send it back to the sender.

Cons

I wish they had a feature where I did not have to sign into their system to have a signed PDF file emailed back to the sender; now I have to save the file and then email it back to the sender using my own email program.

Monopoly on something that should be easier

Reviewed 5 years ago

I think it offers great features but it has a monopoly on something that it shouldn't.

Pros

I like the functionality and what I lets you do. There are so many features and it makes work look much more professional.

Cons

The price. It's clunky. I just feel like it lacks some things and feels. I can't really put it to words but Adobe as a whole just feels like it's lacking something.

Adobe Review

Reviewed 6 years ago

My overall experience with Adobe Software has been good, both for home and work use, as well as school which I recently started again.

Pros

What I like most of Adobe Software is it's a reliable name and easy to use. I know I will not be dissapointed ever.

Cons

What I like least about Adobe Software is that sometimes, the application does not want to open, for no reason. You need to restart the program again.

Gets a job done, but a partial tool

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

I like that it gives me the ability to read Adobe PDFs. It serves that purpose well.

Cons

Not owning more adobe licenses is the biggest pain in the rear-end. Not being able to edit a PDF is the most annoying thing that I deal with on a daily basis. We have just the Reader for PDFs and it makes editing documents near impossible. I have to keep a word document saved that I can edit and then print into PDF.

Works Every Time

Reviewed 6 years ago

Acrobat Reader DC runs in the background and looks after itself. If you allow it to be your default PDF reader, It does everything for you.

Pros

I have never had an issue with opening and reading a PDF file using Acrobat Reader. It's free, and I think one of the essential programs for any computer user.

Cons

None really, occasionally you'll need to update the version - but your computer will let you know and it's a one-click procedure.

Pretty good and very comfortable to use

Reviewed 4 years ago

Very good. easy to use as much as it is installed on your machine

Pros

I mean, everyone uses this if not, why not. Really use software that helps send a document to someone else and have the assurance that they will be able to read it.

Cons

The truth is, they have so many features now to even enhance your document but why do I have to pay for another software. C'mon man.
