Overall it does the job

Reviewed 5 years ago

I use it to print my sewing patterns that have to have a test square to make sure the patterns size is printed correctly. Other programs aren’t able to do that.

Pros

Being able to change documents and the print settings. I print sewing patterns that need to be a specific size and this does that

Cons

Very slow. Has a glitch that you have to download the file first screen even though it’s already downloaded and open

Great PDF reader

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

This is my go-to PDF reader. The layouts and functionality are much better than the other PDF readers out there. I have used Adobe reader for years and will continue.

Cons

I wish you had the ability to edit in the free reader. There are times where I need to be able to edit something and do not want to pay for a monthly or yearly subscription since it is very rare that I need it.

Should be the pdf leader, but isn't

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Editing/annotating functions are pretty good. Can remember reading settings across sessions and documents.

Cons

Where to begin? They change it up too much between updates. They got rid of the bookmark creation at some point. They try to force you into using the online features. They should focus on making the desktop product better, rather than trying to beef up their online capabilities.

Easily exchange files

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Makes opening documents to view simple and effective. We have guests who have us print items for them and adobe makes opening pdf files and also editing easy. Our in-house restaurant changes periodically with the seasons and we can go in to add/omit items from multiple computers, makes working from home flawless.

Cons

Lots of features within the program that you really don't need or use.

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

The best PDF file viewer I ever using from last 10 years, Interface is simple and sophisticated so it is very user friendly. Page loading is very fast with compared to other PDF viewers. Thanks Adobe for giving us such PDF viewer.

Cons

Edit option of text is not here so we can not edit the texts. Pen option is also not here. Sometimes it failed to load some big pdf files.

On the Go

Reviewed 5 years ago

It doesn't help me to solve any problems besides the fact of not having to carry around a laptop just to download or view documents that I can retrieve on my smartphone

Pros

I like that this software isn't only available to those who have a computer, but it is also available to those who have smartphones as well.

Cons

There isn't anything that I don't like about the software due to the fact that it is very convenient to me.

Acrobat Reader DC review by Teodora

Reviewed 6 years ago

In my opinion the best program to operate with PDF files!

Pros

Acrobat Reader is the program I've been using for years when it comes to open PDF files, synchronizing files on different devices is the best! all tools are placed on the right spot and when you open a document you can preview it and edit if you want with ease.

Cons

Free version is not that great, however there are no other disadvantages I can think of

Love Acrobrat Reader. Never expereinced any problems with it. It's more reliable than most people.

Pros

Adobe Reader is about as solid as any software can be. Never have I ever had a problem with reading, creating, or filling in information with adobe reader. Plus, it's free!

Cons

I only dislike when I have a computer that doesn't have this software installed. Any other pdf reader is a complete waste of tie.

ADOBE

Reviewed 4 years ago

I would say my overall experience with Adobe Acrobat is good.

Pros

I use adobe acrobat sometimes to look at daily notes, progress notes, and evaluations. It is easy to scroll through and gives a clear layout of the note.

Cons

I have found that it is extremely hard to edit things in Adobe Acrobat. It is mainly just for reading documents so I dont normally need to edit anything.

The best tool for reading

Reviewed 4 years ago

I love Adobe. As a researcher, this software is a must use for everyday for me.

Pros

I love Adobe Reader. There are so many others out there. But Adobe is simply the best. Their free version itself offers almost all their features.

Cons

I think this software is a bit heavy. But overall it works well. Previously they didnot have the tab option. But now they added it. So that's really good.

Great product

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I have the full version of this software and it is great! I can now modify any PDF the way I want to without any problems. I can change the page order, I can edit the text, I can add pages or images, I can combine 2 different files together (or split one file into 2 files), etc. The possibilities are large and it is perfect in the business world where everything is in PDF.

Cons

It is sometimes hard to find the way to do the stuff that you want to do, but if you navigate between the options you will always end up finding a way.

Adobe Reader DC

Reviewed 5 years ago

The product works well and easy to use. Easy to navigate and simple to use. The application is low on resource utilization

Pros

Easy to use, install, and update. The software opens documents quickly and easily. Very easy to navigate.

Cons

Lack or integration with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, have to exit the document and open with Acrobat Pro seperately.

Pdf reader

Reviewed 3 years ago

It is easy to read the pdf using this software and it can be downloaded in phone and computers

Pros

The best feature is that it is compatible with every operating system and the letter clarity is high compared to others.

Cons

It is highly expensive to edit the pdf through this application. Also, the editing features requires more options since it is difficult to change a word or alphabet

ACrobat Reader Review

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

If you working with PDF's it's the only software that work seamless for reading and filling our forms.

Cons

It is a resource hog on old machines. Example we have a few laptops running on Windows 7 due to a PCI program we are running. Reader can slow the machine down just reading PDF's not filling anything out. So hopefully they will continue the trend of making it more lightweight.

The industry standard for documents.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Without Adobe Reader I would not be able to process invoices, receipts or other business related correspondence that goes beyond email and interpersonal communication.

Cons

I do not like the subscription based, fractured capabilities. I wish Adobe would offer municipalities and large corporations the option to buy a business license that gives all employees access to the full suite of Adobe tools.

Great program to open and view documents

Reviewed 6 years ago

Great application where one can open and review files on any platform/operating system.

Pros

I enjoy the user interface. So easy to open and read the PDF files on any platform [PC, Mac, mobile].

Cons

This is a read-only application. It would be great if there were some editing 'lite' features. I'm not looking to move things around the document, but it would be nice to have if one can do a quick type change or add/sign a field.

Acrobat reader dc

Reviewed 5 years ago

I have experienced no problems with this. It is a very helpful and almost mandatory software.

Pros

It is compatible with most software systems. It is necessary to view documents in most cases. It is usually a free download. It doesn't take up alot of space.

Cons

On the rare occasion it's not compatible. You have to have other software installed or you won't be able to use this as s stand alone product.

Solid Program

Reviewed 4 years ago

Great software to aid in adjusting your PDFs very easily for small edits that don't require other Adobe software to get things done.

Pros

Really like how universal PDF files are widely used in the world today. Great program in dealing with digital files that require signatures and passwords.

Cons

Don't really have a con on the software. I really like the many options it has to work with PDF files.

Must have for business!

Reviewed 6 years ago

eSignatures with additional comments added are the preferred way we are processing our contracts and clinical results and has decreased turnaround time for these documents due to ease of use and electronic send/receive and sharing features.

Pros

In today's environment where everything is paperless and pdfs are the most used format for documents, having this easy to use software is a must to be able to process electronic documents.

Cons

The Adobe eSignature is not accepted by all our partners but we prefer it over other esignature softwares because the Adobe is more versatile overall.

Best PDF Software!

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

The tools within this program made making and editing our training books a breeze. The feature that allows different readers to comment in different colors made collaborating on the document very easy.

Cons

The program can have a steeper learning curve with less technologically proficient staff, however once taught the tools within the program people get very good with it very quickly.
