Pros

Customer support was great and really helpful - [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] went above and beyond to successfully help me several times, I do appreciate it.
Their support is also incredibly responsive and friendly, and their documentation is good. It's been really easy for me to teach myself the ins and outs of the product and get answers to my questions.
Good, support are brilliant. Often find the solution complicated, requiring research and dedication on how to set it up correctly.

It can suck up a lot of time just configuring and experimenting.
The inability to two-way integrate with Pivotal Tracker has proven extremely difficult in optimizing our workflow with our other teams (design, engineering etc.).
During the evaluation period I did not find any specific features that I dislike.

This software is incredibly flexible to fit your business needs. While customizing if you run into any problems the support team is quick to reply with solutions.

Cons

It's so robust that you can get lost in everything - especially if you don't create a gameplan prior to implementing.

Great so far. Always quick to respond and really helpful. They even let me pause my account while we had a slow down in the business.

Pros

There are so few tools that allow you to develop the strategic direction of a product alongside the aspects of delivery. Being able to add the strategic vision, goals and initiatives plus link those to the releases and roadmap is awesome! I also love how as the product management I can see all the work passed to my team in a release schedule view whilst also maintaining a Kanban view for my team's workflow management. Stop messing around with Jira/Confluence, Monday or Trello and get on Aha!

Cons

The tool is so rich that it can take some getting used to but once you get stuck in then you really feel the benefit!

I was initially introduced to Aha at my first product management position, although it was not integrated into any of the other dev tools. In this new company and position we are integrating it into ADO, Teams, and looking to see how it will work with Mavenlink, to allow for realtime updates and the ability to look at the same data through different lenses to allow each team to get what they need, and update the other teams.

Pros

The ease of use to plan out roadmaps and plan out capacity. I am still working to plan out our processes as we are moving towards a new development methodology from our current workflow, and Aha! is playing an important piece in getting the data presented to the executive team.

Cons

Sometimes things are not in obvious places, use management notification settings, in the personal section. It would be more intuitive (to me) to have a user management section

After few exchanges with no data privacy share, she was able to point me the solution and retrieve my report. Thank you for this support.

Overall, Aha! has helped us plan and organize our product team's work. It definitely exceeds expectations.

Pros

Aha! helps keep all of your strategic planning in one place. Most importantly, it allows you to sync strategic planning with your operational tasks. The ability to highlight objectives/initiatives on the feature cards was extremely important.

Cons

While there is a great deal of flexibility with customization, it is often difficult and requires help from support. Integrations were a bit troublesome at times also.

Great product for mapping out how you get from A->B

Our experience with Aha has been positive so far, we've not made use of any of the product experts and their service desk responded within a few hours the few times we've had queries.

Pros

Aha was quick to synchronize with our existing workflows (primarily JIRA) and made it easy to map our business strategy and initiatives against our development needs, time-lining those out in parallel with our sales and marketing strategies in a nice concise set of views.

Cons

Initially the product felt quite complex with a large variety of displays, dashboards and configuration when compared with other products on the market. We currently only require and using a subset of the functionality, however it ended up being easy to hide everything we didn't want to use and focus in on the areas we did, allowing us to expand as our needs do.

I needed to integrate a software that provided sophisticated gantt views with ADO. Aha! was the only one that meet my expectations, by far.

Cons

Kind of expensive. They could try a plan for startups that lasts permanently, not just a year.

Love using this integrated with JIRA!

I'm just starting to get into using it in the last 2 weeks and using it to present my roadmap to business users, integrated with all of the sprint work that I plan using JIRA. The integration works great! I really love using these products together! I'm excited to get even more familiar with what JIRA can do!

Pros

The JIRA integration is critical to my successful use of this tool as all of our sprint work is planned within JIRA!The Customer Support team is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! They are all incredibly good at what they do and they get back to me just lightning fast whenever I have a question. Thank you so much!

Cons

It's a little hard to navigate to some areas. I have a difficult time finding where integrations are configured and I sometimes can't locate the detailed error log when an integration fails.

To help with the annual planning and project intake.

Pros

It enables us to manage the annual plan and the every day project requests. We are now able to see how the requests tie back to the annual plan. Aha! is also very flexible to allow for customized fields which is very important to us. It also has great import/export capability for features and ideas.

Cons

The import capability is a bit lacking. The other thing that I don't like is how to select the product filtering. Since we have a lot of products (300+) defined, since there is no select all option in filtering, many times I need to click many times to select all the products that I need to be included in the list/reports.

We were minimally trying to put some organization into our product plans, but at the same time, we were making a shift to an Agile product development framework. aha was critical to the success of this and as we grew as an organization, transparency and communication of the product plans became critical and aha made that easy for us.

Love their customer service. I am a small start up and they treat me like I am important to them. They want me to succeed and want to be a part of that success. I have learned a lot about how they focus on their customers - I want to implement the same for my customers. They set a high bar for me to shoot for.

Pros

Product easy to start out with. Has a lot of functionality I plan on mastering and implementing. Biggest plus for me was their excellent customer support

Cons

No complaints. I have not found anything I am disappointed in.

Could benefit from an additional basic pricing tier (is a very big jump from trial to premium): they do offer a startup pricing model that can be applied for as well that helps on this front.

Pros

The product is easy to pick up and start using day one.

Cons

Finding support pages feels daunting at times, so much information is 'out there'. A chat function would be nice.

A Product Manager's Bible

Portfolio planning made easy. We had a pretty big disconnect between business, product and development up until discovering Aha! The tool we are actively using for our development sprints is not well-liked by the business/product heads so using Aha! has made a significant difference on how we plan our portfolio of products, visualize them on a shared roadmap, attribute market strategies to them and ultimately prioritize items from Aha! as the source of truth and push the "ready for development" items into Aha!

Pros

The breadth and depth of its functionality. You can really tell this is a platform built BY product managers FOR product managers.

Cons

The ramp up time took a little longer than we would've liked but thats the nature of the beast when you are working with a tool this powerful. Once I, as the power user, got the hang of everything, I was able to hold a few lunch and learn sessions with the rest of the team to get them up to speed as well.

Reports are easy to create but there have been cases where I am looking for something specific which is allowed with custom reports but it takes me time to figure out how to configure.

This is a very useful software for building the product feature roadmap and tracking it

I am able to build my product roadmap and have it in a state where it can be shared easily with others, track the progress of features and plan ahead.

Pros

The product works well for the most of the product development lifecycle. It is customizable enough to have multiple products and product lines tracked efficiently and in detail. It's Pivot reports functionality is very powerful to view the features grouped by various parameters and generate some excellent reports.

Cons

The integration with JIRA is sometimes a little unstable, especially when it comes to custom fields that we use heavily within our organization. It could also do a better job about allowing more ways to input and represent the detailed product strategy in the Strategy part of the tool

A must for any product manager

Time saving.

Pros

So easy to use. I work as a consultant helping technology companies design, launch and sell new products and cloud services. Aha is so easy to use and takes the drudge work out of creating a vision, business plan, market assessment etc. so I can focus my time on engagement with my customer and really understanding what they want to achieve. Really can't rate this product high enough and the support is excellent as well. I don't write many glowing reviews but this product deserves it.

Cons

The only thing it really lacks it the ability to create a single report across all areas for the product. You have to go into each section and export as an image or PDF. So when presenting a document or presentation to a board, it can be a bit time-consuming.

Develop and Track Current and Future Product Roadmaps

Pros

We signed up with Aha! about a month. We had taken some-time to evaluate a variety of tools to determine which one is the best for us to use to develop and track our product roadmap. Currently, we are in the process of configuring Aha! and integrating it with JIRA and Confluence as well as implementing the Ideas Board and Resource Planning. Pros: Aha! provides the platform needed to integrate the business side (strategy, personas, business goals) with the technical side (product roadmap, resource planning), as well as with the customer side (ideas board). The support team is very prompt in replying to emails and answering the customer support phone line.

Cons

Configuration with JIRA is not as intuitive, and it requires some additional support from the Aha! team. Of course, additional support and training, depend on the purchased plan.
