The colour scheme falls down a common trap with modern web apps - it's grey on white, low contrast, and not allowing the user to set a dark mode/high contrast mode/own colour scheme.

AirSend strikes a great balance between having rich features and functions and an easy and non-imposing UI and UX. The tool also comes with the essential features to get work done as it combines various attributes from the collaborating apps, in one platform. Overall the tool is really helpful for team communications and saves plenty of time.

A great collaboration and communication tool for businesses

I started using AirSend in an attempt to find a low-cost alternative to a service like Monday.com. I was a past user of Tonido, so I thought I'd give it a chance. The layout is pleasing, but the overall features are lacking.

AirSend Lacks Notable Features

The name AirSend suggest a previous direction, but this is not yousendit or wetransfer, it's much more, and that's a strength and weakness.  If you just want to send a file, it is a bit more involved than those products - it's a teamworking app, really, and a very simple one.  This duality means it may not have found its place yet, although it is clearly trying to find that sector and direction.  As the devs are working at this, I'm watching this space.  
I can see this becoming a replacement for corporate extranets where a large support file and surrounding installation discussions need to be issued selectively and quickly - for instance a hotfix of a bit of software or for sending a video edit for comment, although it's not optimised for either of these specifically they would be use cases where this has a place.
If you want actual teamworking inside your own organisation, there are other options which are a superset of this functionality

So far, we have no complaints! Speeds are as they would be in-office and the flexibility has already saved us from a few headaches! Great product!

Airsend is a Godsend

Since I am not really a computer nerd, I DID have some troubles finding my way around, but overall the application appears to be managable and helpful. Currently, I am using a trial version and learned yesterday, that the "real thing" would have to be paid for. Just for my very limited personal use, I don't think, I would choose a paid plan. Since I am living in Japan, it would be very important to have a Japanese UI available, if I were to collaborate with other people (thinking about that).

My overall experience is very positive. I like the most that I can easily track and find the information related to a specific aspect of my project.

Renzmark V.:                                           Hi, I'm Renzmark, a volunteer. And I use AirSend, which I would give a four out of five star review. For more reviews, click down below. I use AirSend during volunteer to talk to just all our volunteers. We have a huge group chat where we all talk and discuss projects, deadlines, and such. And it's all very easy to use because we can go in a big group and talk and then just go out to separate groups, separate files, separate chats, and discuss and organize our work and just talk about our day, even. And it's really easy to use. Now, I'm not part of creating the actual groups, but from what I see, I like how you are able to create different action files. So here we have messages, actions, files and wiki, and I'm not sure if that's the same thing for everyone, but for my group, I like the fact that you have these four different tabs that you can scroll between really fast while chatting with other people, so you can really multitask and really just have your workflow set very smoothly. And I just absolutely love the fact that you could do that really quickly, really efficiently and pretty much everyone of my coworkers said the same thing.
                                                       Unfortunately, I do have one big gripe about AirSend, and again, I haven't created the volunteer messaging group for my group, so I'm not sure if there's a setting for that. However, as just a member of the messaging group, there's a lot of notifications. And especially during busy times, where you're waiting for messages and replies to certain workflow situations, you can't be spammed with messages that, "Oh, someone joined the chat or someone joined the channel. Someone joined the channel," which is often, especially in bigger group scenarios, like my volunteer group, that you'll have to scroll through lots of those messages and it kind of lags the chat too. So it's a bit frustrating to navigate during the busier times of this volunteer group, navigating all those joining the channel. And there's no way to ... I checked the settings even recently, just to make sure I'm not going crazy. There's no way to change it on my end, as a member. So if you are using it for a big group setting, just keep that in mind. And yeah, that's why I would give it off one star from a five star review. Four stars for AirSend here.
