Pros

Bloomfire is so amazing because its such a great product to have. Its literally the main source of knowledge for just about any question you could come up with for my company.
I like Bloomfire, but I think its success depends on your company's culture and their willingness to invest energy into it. It can certainly be a powerful tool.
Compared to the software we used before, Bloomfire is smart, easy to use and also really easy to update. Our teams love how smart the search is and like how easy it is to bookmark commonly used links.

Pros

The system is speedy, and technical support is fantastic. The software produces nice excel outputs that are easy to manipulate, and I like that the user may upload as many files and folders necessary.
They provide a fast and outstanding overview of the changes to a document version. Also the acronym checker is excellent to help you verify that you have defined all your acronyms in your document.
Out of the box" incredibly easy to use and very powerful, however the ability to customize features adds a next level to its' capabilities.

Cons

There is no foreseeable way to download content onto an iPad Pro. Several of our clients are now using the iPad Pro and are struggling to use Bloomfire on their devices.
Our documents are very large and they can not send in just a regular email. So we send them to bloom fire and it uploads and the person can get the document.
Sometimes it is hard to follow. Update changes are a little too extreme sometimes where it is hard to catch back up to the content you are seeking, especially for those who only enter it periodically.

Cons

In the same way that Excel does not do an accountant's job for them - it changes the nature of their work. They no longer worry about arithmetic, but they do have to worry about formulas, etc.
I was handed the account from a predecessor, so I am unclear how things were set-up. I don't understand how dictionaries are defined and set-up, and the user interface isn't intuitive at first glance.
Our department also utilizes the VisibleThread compliance checklist capability to report on contract risk factors.
