Pros

It provides comprehensive and very useful features & functionality. They offer a suite of apps to use for different innovation initiatives and robust reporting & insights.
Ability to build out pipelines to evaluate and track ideas's progress, and easily route to the appropriate evaluator(s). Good customer support with quick response and resolution turnaround time.
It is pretty easy to use and has a nice "social media-like" interface which everyone is used to. It gives me the ability to see ideas entered by our customers but also manage the backlog of ideas.

Pros

It shows that we care about what our users want. And that helps build customer loyalty.
Canny is the best product - we reviewed them all and are delighted that we selected Canny.
I have used the software for a month or two now and it works great. My customers are engaged to help me grow my product.

Cons

The system has so many applications and I struggle to figure out a way to use them all.
One issue we ran into was the inability to backdate projects.
Functionality is limited in areas such as socialization and financials. Though the BrightIdea team is very open to hearing product enhancements and is frequently updating the software.

Cons

In our comms with their people - they flat out refused to remove their branding - despite the number of votes for people wanting that, and despite the fact that we said we would pay much more.
Before Canny, we were using a product that was very well established in the market, but a negative experience for ourselves & our customers to use.
Beware - they refuse to listen to top-voted feedback.
