This tool is an excellent knowledge base. This is the primary use for it that we have, and it does it perfectly.

We use both Jira and confluence on our projects. Confluence was initially started on the project to replace word documents for programming specs and request. It was a mixed uptake due to higher learning curve over just word.

Overall a good content management tool but there’s room for improvement when storing unsaved changes.

I have always enjoyed using Confluence because the experience is amazing. It makes managing and creating documents very easy. Even with creating project plans and having the ability to create every good templates depending on the project the team is working on. I also enjoy the fact that I can integrate my other project management tools like Trello.
